Final Fantasy X-2 is the Product of the Devil!

Shame on Square Enix! How dare they make this game just to sell money! What happend to the Square that heeded all our requests! The Square that cared about their fellower gamers/children? Have they forgotten the true meaning of Final Fantasy, the best RPG game series in existence! X-2 ruined it! X sucked also! Worst FF, not a true FF! It should've been like VII. Hopefully, with VII's movies coming out, Square has time to reemd themselves and please the people that are reponsible for their success, so, who agrees X-2 is the product of the devil and worst FF game ever? If you think it's a good game, then you've never played other FFs besides X!

FYI, all this is just part of my sarcasm, I like X-2. However, so many people feel it's the worst game in existence and keep raviving how Square Enix has gone ''downhill''.

Then why did you make a topic about it, if it is all sarcasm? Some of us have justified reasons to hate FFX-2, and actually think it isn't a good game, and have long reasons, including in game evidence to back it up. But to pass off YOUR OPINION, as a FACT, isn't the best place to start.

There are people who have played the old FFs and still like FFX-2, regardless of how alienating this is. If you are going to anti the anti-FFX-2 people, then do a little research, before you start calling people out, as some of us have VERY justified, 6 page long reasons as to why that person hates FFX-2. Of course, one can't change your opinion, but to say FFX-2 is the BEST, without giving the other FFs a try, is pure arrogance, and you will ultimately be shown up as a fallible fool who doesn't know what he is talking about. I've even met people who like MQ, (don't ask me as to their identities, I would like to spare them the humiliation).

Square-Enix hasn't exactly gone downhill since FFX, and based on sales evidence, Square has gone downhill since FFVII, but sales mean very little, in my opinion. However, they haven't exactly been delivering, thus far, either. Don't group FFX in the same category as FFX-2. To assume that FFX lovers are the same as FFX-2 lovers, and those who hate one automatically hate the other, is wrong and uninformed, and blows your argument to sham.

Wrong, I did not assume anything. In fact, YOU'RE DOING THAT. This thread is mocking those that believe X-2 is the product of the devil. Do I once in my post mention people can't justify why they dislike the game. I made an option for those who dislike the game, but don't hate it like other rabid fanboys or believe it's the worst FF/game in existence. When I said not to confuse me as rabid hater of this game, I'm letting everybody that I'm a fan of this game and it's all sarcasm mocking the ''haters''. Those haters are the people that believe in such in nonense such as it it truly is the worst game ever produced. Three options were at least for those that did not like it.

You obviously missed a thread entitled "What's so bad about X-2". I would redirect people to it, but I can't find it. I did not deny that you liked FFX, where did you get such an idea from? But the minority is still a part of, and should be mentioned before you rashly run into a situation, waving flags of gross-overgeneralizations.

The faker haters will be the ones who don't remember MQ. The faker fans are the ones with a closed mind. And of course, really, since FFVII, Square hasn't really been giving it their all. Their most, but not all.

I can understand your point of view, and I'd hate it if people mindlessly bashed something I enjoyed, too. But what's done is done. FFX-2 IS a FF, no matter how much the haters will dislike it.

Sorry about my hostility towards you and my constant over-useage of the :rolleyes2 icon, but while typing those messages I was posting a LONG message to five members who were attacking me and throwing insults like little school children all because I told them it's stupid to get all fed over Sora, Donald and Goofy beating the ''badasses Squall and Leon'' in KH/KH2. While doing that, your posts came up rather quickly and I was already losing patience because now I felt six people were gaining on me and I was stuck in a very uncomfortable postion. Hmm, it wasn't that bad of a game, but it wasn't all that great either. The only thing I pretty much hated in the game was the music that played throughout ... that was the only thing I couldn't stand.

Battle system is new and exciting. It shows real time and fluent camera movements. There is no order to where the characters is placed. The story may have been off track from the first but it stays on a set course which leads to the climax of the game. Plot twists are often, but they aren't that bad. A new character with her own story that is introduced. Old characters with some new improvements that occured between part 1 and 2. The game was awesome just as every other FF game. ALL FF GAMES ROCK!!! :exdee::exdee::exdee:

I liked the game I thought It was a pretty good sequal ppl were all look where wareing but meh it was hot haha and the game play and everything I think it was good

The story was very incompetent. And the gameplay, too many tedious mini-games that have absolutely nothing to do with the story.

The battle system was excellent though.

Overall, FFX-2 as a Final Fantasy game sucked ass.

More like the game was made by a God with a bad sense of humor. It's pretty awesome that it has a 'Job System', but with a story that pales in comparison to FFX, and recycled environments, it loses points in my book. And the fact that it's an actual sequel to an FF=ew. And the immense dissapointment from a new soundtrack; I had already associated FFX's environments to certain themes, and having to hear a brand new soundtrack, kinda messed that up for me. (I'm probably the only one who would care about that area, so meh.

Although the fact that all of the original development team is gone, plus the fact that it was pulled together in months, it isn't too surprising. Oh well. At least it was a fun game, if not pretty easy. Now to read Tav's really long argument...I like reading...:cat:

Yeah I have played horrid games in the past. And this isnt one of them. This ranks with some of the funniest for me.

Well.. I bought it because I thought it was going to be good. I didn't really like it that much, but it isn't a 'Product of the Devil'. Besides, it's all opinions. For every FFX-2 'hater' there will be atleast 5 people who like the game.

It was a good game, though it isn't a game I will find myself playing again~

The story wasn't my cup of tea, to me it seemed rushed. Like it had no care put into it, which it probably did. But IMO I just think they rushed through it, just to get it out on the market and raise their sales, I may be wrong, but thats just my opinion.

Being an avid fan of FFX, I thought I would adore FFX-2, too. But I was wrong, to me, it was nothing like the FF's before it, and I much prefer the classical FF's.

To round this off, it isn't a 'product of the devil' its just simply a game, good in some peoples eyes, not so good in others.
