Im not feeling so good about tommorow.

I just realized how ugly I am A.
B. Tommorow is my 1st big day for filming in a hollywood film....
C. Im so F-ing nervous
D. They havent called me back to tell me where we are meeting and what time it will be and where it will be at.....IM nervous
E. Its my senior year and this hollywood is coming to inbetween my studdies.
F. Im too ugly and they will probably turn me down on sight I dont look like a star...here....

Yah well , an extra works for one day...I possibly have a few lines and screen time. I am supposebly perfect for some part. A small part, but I wont belittle it. I am working for like 10 days....or more...so.....

Don't worry, it'll come out fine! ^^ ... It's normal to feel nervous and excited in the same time, but don't be very negative. Like Dark Angel From Heaven said, just relax, take a deep breath and give thoughtto all the positive things that this will give you. Achieving starts with Believing, so boost up your confidence, give your best shot, and everything will go just fine! :)

I'm sorry but when I feel horribly ugly and unattractive, I don't want anyone to look at me, much less post half a dozen pictures of myself on the internet. In my experience, people who say, "I'm so ugly" and then proceed to post pictures of themselves for others to look at are just fishing for compliments.

If they said you're perfect for the role, then what are you worrying about? Go out and get them, tiger.

if you have a good self esteem then you won't care if anybody looks at you even if you say you look ugly(which isn't true).

Its not what I care about ...its what the director cares about and is willing to do with and for me . My skins has some acne and Im afaird that it will conflict with my role....:(

I got a call from the big boys today. They still claim to want me, they tell me I will be playing a small part of a man going to work with a suit case on the street. The claim that I will be reused :D

Actually I have it and if I were to use it properly or at all, it actually works for me. The thing is I am too lazy to do so...I am a creature of habit that is hard to add a new one to my daily routine...

I use antibiotics to avoid getting spots, and I would recommend it. The creams you get for acne will dry the skin out, so I wouldn't suggest using them. An as for the movie they will sort your skin out with make-up, lighting, etc. If they've already said you're perfect for the part and they've seen you, then they already know what your skin looks like, and their not going to change their minds because of it. So don't worry. :monster:

There's far too many people like you. I tend to try to be kind and gentile towards others I try to be a character while maintaining respect. Weve been delayed by weather but today is the real day.:)

Im double posting to bring to attention good news.

We filmed today. We did two scenes which lasted from 6 am all the way to 6 pm. We stood in the hot sun, burning our faces and necks...dressed for a winter scene..durring the near summer. We wore heavy over coats and suits underneath the overcoats . The combination of full suits / a tux combined with a over coat at this time of year is rather unpleasant trust me.:rolleyes2 The movie takes place durring winter and well its not winter trust me.

They liked my extra part. I recieved simple and yet deserved compliments. Im not saying that an extra is overly signifcant at all but apparently I did it well and that is significant to me. Numerous people complimented me. I was thrilled. I had a close scene actually and , I got to see a car accident. It is highly probable that I will see myself in the film. Not my face, but my character. I was told that I was very professional and did well , this doesnt say alot for a film being an extra and just being in the background.., but when extras are the only actors on the screen it's important to keep it real..which apparently I did well enough to be complimented..:D . Everyone worked as a team.

This was a very hard day, believe me being an extra isnt as easy as it may seem when you are dressed for winter in the near summer....standing without sitting for so so so many hours.

My next film day is monday. Its not like I am a big part of the film of course not ... However the crew has gone out of its way to make me feel appreciated and I am proud of that. Alot of extras recieved no compliments. I recieved a few...nothing too special but I was happy to hear them.
I hope to hear more, even though my part is insignifcant and possibly un-noticed as long as others tell me that Im doing good with it and are complimenting me as such I will be proud of my efforts.

I want to keep it real just as much as the whole crew and cast does.

TAKE AFTER TAKE after millonth take! HOUR ON HOUR END!!! It's good that everyone is professional regardless of how small the role is....

First of all, you don't look ugly at all to me.

Second, try to calm down. I'm willing to bet most of your anxiety is due to your lack of knowledge of when or where the shooting is taking place. If you just calm down and think positively, you'll do perfectly fine.

Finally, there's no reason why you can't bring your books with you to the shooting to study from whenever you're not on camera.

Even though It would have been easier to post the movie rather than the link, Thanks Leeza. And thats a pretty big part for your first time in hollywood If they are giving you any lines at all. Thats at least some proof you definatly have talent.

Thanks for all of the positive reinforcement. After a day of filming everyone seems to become a little more negative or less euthasatic.

Tommorow is another day that we film and from there I go all week long. Its good and bad....Just thought I would inform anyone that cares .:)

It has become routine to post my days here as an extra. I hope some one cares. I cant post pictures or video. The crew would be very upset with me. Actually I cant even desrcibe the main aspects of any scene with you. I got a bigger small part today. I got to wave down a taxi cab as I fought over it with an older man. Not physically fist to body. Like calling and waving out to the cab.. I recieved numerous compliments from the extras. A group of extras talking amongst one another thought that I was a regular extra...haha. They thought that I had been doing this for years. They told me that I looked so real. The directors shot the scene at the same angle for hours on hours end. They seemed to like what I was doing but they diddnt seem to like how the car chase scene was working cars wise. Anyhow Im doing good as an extra wuth compliments everyday. I hate the compliments however because I dont know how to reply to them....

Just reply by saying "Thank you". :)

To be honest, it's perfectly normal to be nervous about this kinda stuff. Even if it's not your first time, it's still a bit nerve-racking.

May I ask, is this an independent film or a 'blockbuster' type deal? (PM if you don't mind me asking... I'll watch out for ya' :) )

And may I also say, you look better with glasses on. Seriously.

Yeah, the acne thing shouldn't be a problem. They should give the extra's make up as well.

You may wanna start building a bit more confidence however. Hollywood is an industry built on confidence and/or ego's. So, I suggest you find a strongpoint and/or best feature.

and besides, photographs don't tell much about your appearance.
I'm considered much uglier on photographs, compared to IRL.

lovehurts, if you're not satisfied with your looks, remember that self-confidence matters a lot. :beer:
Also, the only "ugly" thing I saw in you was that acne stuff; do something about that,
and maybe get a tan, and I promise you that you'll become much more attractive. :cool:

Today was one of the best days of my whole life. Today while filming a car crash scene I was supposed to act suprised by a car crash. I did so well that I convienced almost all the extras and a crew memmber who has been around this for years and is highly offical and works on the camera truck ect ect complimented me and patted me on the back. He said that I did a good job. That made my day and was possibly one of the best compliments Ive ever recieved. I acted and professional movie company officals complimented me.


It was a 14 hour work day though...joy.....:greenie:
