No.
Not in the least. :cat:
Depends on the mood I'm in.
No. To be honest, I really dislike a majority of the US. Aside from a few exceptions, I only like the North East. Specifically, NY. I'm biased, yes. :p Though Hawaii = massive love. It's the only state that's possibly better than NY in my opinion.
I too, am biased. I am a fan of the Northeast as well. Except New York.
Philly > NYC
But back to the topic at hand, I am in no way patriotic. If I took any of my actions to a larger scale, I'd be hunted by everyone and everything.
No, I'm ScottNUMBERS.
No.
Not really no. There's not a whole lot going on right now with my country that I enjoy associating myself with. Bandwagon patriotism only makes me feel moreso like that.
To an extent. Canada is better than a lot of the civilized world.
Oh yeah. NE pride. :D Philly is pretty cool, I love the cobblestone there and just the whole atmosphere.Quote:

Damn right im patriotic. Been patriotic all my life. Like most patriots, im tearing my country apart...
I like my country...I wouldn't call it patriotism as such, but I'm proud to be English. Not so proud of government etc, but yeah, I like being English.
I am a big fan of the "you make fun of the sports teams and you die" mentality of all of the people in and around the city. I suffer from the condition as well. Fortunately for me, I don't have to deal with the fake New Yorkers (aka, North New Jersey).Quote:

No. Not really. It's hard to be supportive of something that you disagree with on so many levels.
But I absolutely love living in Florida.
And Ms. Rye? If Noo Yoik is soo great how come everyone moves down here?! ;)
No
I want to live in Germany. Now they have potential

I want out of my country, so I am guessing no.
I'm patriotic. Not to the point that I go around wearing green and gold with an Australian flag wrapped around the shoulders, but I love supporting Aussies in sport, seeing Australian celebrities in movies etc.
Politically, there's not much love to be had though.
Yep yep yep!Quote:

I like where I live, but I'm not patriotic. I dislike our current government, and it kind of makes me feel angry towards the rest of my country. And I also dislike my province, because it's really boring.
I would be patriotic if I did live in certain other countries, though.
If I created my own country, then yeah. I think if I create a country, I'm going to name it Canada.
Heh. Hell no.
My loyalty is earned. It's not given by random chance or birth.

How can I be proud of this?

(SPOILER)I was forced to sing that song in 4th grade music class. None of you know my pain. None of you. :(
I have not one, not two, but three New Zealand shirts. Along with this, I have one Scotland shirt, just to be proud of where I am right now (and my distant ancestry). I have three NZ posters on my kitchen wall, above my sink. I watch every All Black and Black Caps match they show over here and I promote NZ whenever I can. I am one of the most patriotic people I know, easily. Possibly the most patriotic person I know. :p
And that's not even starting on EoFF-patriotism :D
^ it's all true. His shirts are hideous.
Your face is hideous. >=( My shirts are awesome.
Untrue, stop lying, BoB. Your shirts are only awesome if they are covering Kyono's face completely, cutting all the Oxygen from getting to his brain. In such a case, Kyono is no longer hideous, but only if he has a shirt in his face.
I know your pain. We had to sing that all through elementary school.Quote:

I'd probably have more school spirit than national love, and more band pride than school spirit.
PG-- search for 9-11 songs xD or God Bless the USA
No. I might seem patrioric towards America, but that's more support for a system closer to one I agree with than most other places.
Pride based on something as arbitrary as where you were born is incredibly stupid.
Oh, and on topic, I am not nationalistic at all. Nothing against Americans or anybody else, but Canadian nationalists piss me off.Quote:
If tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee,
across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea,
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA,
Well, there’s pride in every American heart,
and it’s time to stand and say:
I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.
If anything, I openly mock and insult what might be called Canadian culture. But that's going off topic.

But I do like Canada, don't get me wrong.
We used to sing "And I'm proud to be a Mexican, where at least I can eat beans..."
I don't remember the rest. And, yes, a large percent of my friends in elementary school were Mexican.
I never do the pledge, my teacher gives me weird stares and I like living here and everything, I'm just not a very patriotic.
Yeah, I voted. I went in and checked a box and voted for whatever song and dance propeganda I liked best. If i didn't know a canidate, I checked the cooles sounding name. I drink heavily on the fourth of July, and I care more to watch reality TV vs our Olympians or even American News.
I am the opitomy of American Patriotism.
Bipper
I love Canada, but I am not fanatic about it. Though I do love Canada enough to find that Seperatist are stupid. I mean I took enough Canadian history that always covered La Révolution Tranquille and all that jazz, but I still do not understand why you need to seperate. Also the idea of "two nations" give me a fricken break...
No:tonberry:
This country is not ours, it's the Native American's country. And it shouldn't even be called United States or America.
Do I love America.
No.
Do I love democracy.
Yes.
I guess you could say so, since I work for the government.
I was untill 9-11 and every jack ass in the world was putting flags and stickers on there cars. After I am very unproud to be an american, and when I go to paris in october I will say I'm from canada.
My thoughts exactly:hourglas:Quote:

Yes, Yes I am patriotic.
What's the opposite of patriotic? That'd be right for me...
Only in times of need. Otherwise not really, blind patrotism is embarrassing.
That suits me too. I hate your country as well.:DQuote:

No. I'll join the army and fight if neccessary, but I'm not waving no damn flag.
Not by a long shot. I don't hate America, but I'm not blindly loyal either.
