At first I thought this had to do with Bowie from Shining Force 2! I cried aloud with mirth and merriment.
I see the resemblance but I doubt he was the inspiration for any character. The Kuja one was a stretch too.

funny stuff...it could be possible he's been used as inspiration for at least one character, alot of artists base character designs off of rock stars. and bowie's international, so...

yeah but im wondering why they like him so much and use him as an inspiration ofr thier characters? (square-enix and neil gaiman i mean) maybe its they way that bowie constantly re-invents himself whilst still keeping his core "style" intact (just like the FF games do) that they like....
