No need to ask what he thinks
Art nouveau since I liked the google image results better.
Art Nouveau.
It's always been one of my favorite styles of art. I love the soft, free flowing stuff.
Arr nouveau is more soft and flowing. Art Deco is too bold and rigid in my opinion.
I really like them both, but I'll go with deco just for the heck of it.
Pfft, art nouveau is clearly superior. It has Alphonse Mucha and Louis Comfort Tiffany on it's team. Can't beat that.
oh, if mucha was nouveau, then it's definitely got my vote.
Dude, it's a pig's leg. Duh.Quote:

I, for one, am not going to pretend like I know what either of those two terms mean.
art deco = ugly buildings in Miami Beach
art nouveau = pretty pictures
That's okay, Unne. We all know you're an uneducated twit.Quote:

Seriously though, art nouveau is gorgeous. My house is going to have that crap all over it when I'm a growed-up.

From the very little I know about the subject, I'd have to say Art Deco.
Art Nouveau because of this picture. Bought a huge poster of it last year, just need a decent frame now.

That's way too low a score :cool:Quote:

Art deco architecture is nice, but shows its age. Badly. It's a rather dated style that only really 'works' if you happen to be in an area that's got a lot of buildings from that era. Art nouveau, however, tends to have a bit more lasting appeal. Deco's just a bit too inorganic for my taste.
LOL BIG D IS STILL HERE
