What?
I saw that a book such in this kind subsists.
Do you say so, good lady?
Yap. A book with stuff about Salvation Army marching bands playing on roads. You must avoid past-words and such to accomplish this sort of thing
What if I want to talk about a fantastic guy who posts at this forum? What you and I call him has two of this symbol, right at its start.
You could always just do this and not typ the lttr you want to avoid.
kyono, you was grammatically wrong.
you just hafta work around it
I know, but I am from Britain, grammar ain't in our vocabulary.
ABC...that's like a TV station in America right? Or is it NBC?
...
:eep:
Chris lost!
It's not that hard in short posts. And rubah, I know about that book too. Crazy amount of work, probably.
I disapprove.
This has an ability to assist my aggravation. I don't want to partake in it. So this will act as my last post.
besides, the day doesn't start here for another three hours and ten minutes or so.
Really, What is this thing?
Knowing would not assist you now, you am out of it. Look for a missing symbol that is a part of our communicating, if you must know.Quote:

HA!
(SPOILER)If it is not a misappropriation of truth, try this.

THis game sucks, *goes and broods in a corner*
How do us do this?
This is quite fun if i say so myself. Now avoiding the 5th symbol, that's a bit worse.
Not if you think about it.
Do all birds fly south during the months that follow the months of autumn? I will think about this now and again, but still I cannot find what I am looking for, which is the solution to this inquiry. Will I find the wisdom I wish to attain? I plainly do not know.
It's not cool, i cant do it >.<
I think its straight-forward. You just gotta think of a word that hasn't got that symbol in it. Fun! :D
The inability to truly action is disabling.
Why do you say "wording" but not "phrasing"?
I always suck at this kind of thing. :(
This thing is all-around stupid. I will not join in to any such thing.
x plain! T____T
I want to watch a drunk lad try this stunt.
Funny, wouldn't you think
What bad things would occur if I did input such a symbol? Why must I avoid doing so? I want to know, so if a kind lad or lass could say so, I would impart unto that lad or lass my most joyous thanks. :)
how much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood!
As good as I can.
or you could just r3plac3 the forbidd3n l3tt3r with a diff3r3nt symbol that is sort of similar.
I would probably do poorly. Not bad for my first post. Just wait, you or I will fail.
So which one am i not to say, "fourth" or "fifth" symbol? Or both?
Just 'fifth', D is good to go. :}
Oh My! Calamity all around!!

If you think about it it's not that hard. Ya a book could get difficult. I don't know what book you guys r talking about but ya.
Writing a book without using that symbol is difficult, but not particularly so. What I find amazing is a book, by a man from a landmass 'twixt Spain and Italy, which had no action words in it! I doubt it had a fun plot, but still, I must applaud him!
I saw of a book that had all words to start with "O".
Not in our lingo, though, I think.
Now that it is not Try To Avoid A Symbol Commonly Found Following 'D' In A Kiddy Song Known As 'ABC' Day, must this topic's participants carry on avoiding said symbol, or can it be said now?
I acknowledge this challenge.
I will start my valiant campaign right now
You can't look a dog in a church, it's wrong.
Good Day to you, my good chums. This day is not Try To Avoid A Symbol Commonly Found Following 'D' In A Kiddy Song Known As 'ABC' Day, but I shall try to avoid that fifth symbol anyway,

Alright, not as unhard (1984, anybody?) as I thought. How good of you to point that out. :p I now wish for a dictionary. *Looks in vain for such a tool.*

that shouldn't count. And just ommiting "symbol following D" kinda sucks all fun out of this task. :D Originality is good. :pQuote:

I don't dig the cut of your jib. :mad2:
I find this all amusing. I know such a day is now in my past, but I did thoroughly savour all posts. It was, as I saw, difficult for many to avoid a highly common (although short) word starting with 'th', as much as said many had a try. I say 'fair go' to all of you.
Wow, a lot of things I should do right now should occupy my day apart from this.
