shoujo-romance/girls
kodomo-children such as doraemon, chibi maruko-chan
moe-comedy/cute character
mecha-machine/robot
ecchi-sexsual jokes/fanservice/for 16 above
hentai-great sexsual/18 above

And shojo isn't strictly for females, it's just romantic manga/anime. I prefer shojo over shonen/action anime.

I watch all anime, doesn't matter. It's all good. Still, I can't believe someone referred all anime as hentai. Oh well. I haven't seen a shoujo yet. I've always wanted to se a romance anime. Can anyone recommend one for me? :D

Vandread has some good love stuff in it if that's your market. Sorta. Crappy action, and it's not the best, but something about the characters keeps me coming back for more.
