Seeing as I haven't watched the English version with dubs yet, I'm going to have to explain the meaning of the lines rather than actually quote them:
I like the line where Kadaj tells Cloud he's a marionette/puppet just like him. Very dramatic.
Tifa's zuruzuru zuruzuru.
Yuffie's accusation of discrimination against women.
Zuruzuru
And any of the small amounts of lines that Yazoo has.
I have loads of favorite lines :D Here are a few that come to mind :

In the Japanese version near the start when Kadaj is on his phone and says "Don't yell at me" his voice sounds really funny.
It's not really the line, more the tone.
This movie had some really cheesey lines, but like when Denzel says "Son of a bitch!". that made me laugh
I watched the japanies version so maybe some of my words aren't correct LOL

The film's script is a solid one... some lines actually worked a little better in English, I thought. Kadaj's line, "So what if I'm a puppet? Once upon a time... you were too!" is far more poetic and effective than the original dialogue, but the lip-synch works fine. Vincent's description of Jenova as "Heaven's dark harbinger... the Calamity" was a good one. Cloud's "I'll phone in the verdict" came across better, especially in light of Vincent's subsequent telephonal preoccupation:p
Well, it basically means the same thing. Still, I thought they did a great job on the english script.
Well, except for certain shilly-shally.
1 of my fave bits of the movie is when denzel says "son of a bitch!"

I watched the japanese version first.. (i dont need to be a genius to know that the VA sucked.. it does half the time!) From what I've read, however...
okay, I respect sephiroth and all, but i have to admit, this sounds like yaoi..... (damn voice actors!!!!!) The jap subs definitely said kneel.. but THAT is worse....Quote:

They sounded reasonably similar, really... Bass' voice just has some sinister echo effects added to it. Newburn had a slightly more masculine voice. Sephiroth was fairly quiet and not too expressive throughout his dialogue, but that's the same in the Japanese audio. I guess his sense of self-assurance is such that he doesn't need to scream and rave and exclaim the way other super-villains do...Quote:

Tifa: Yeah, I remember you. (this line is so much better in Japanese, because she adds Reno's phrase "zoto" onto the end of it, which Reno does in the Japanese game, and that's who she's talking to on the phone)
Reno: Yeah, we're sorry...wait a second. What am I saying? (When Loz and Yazoo are pissed off at him because he insulted "Mother")
Loz: I'm not crying! (on the phone to either Kadaj or Yazoo, can't tell which)
Sephiroth: I will not become just a memory. (once again, so much better in Japanese)
Cloud: I'm leaving. (the tone on this quote is so funny. It's when Rufus is telling Cloud how he survived, and Cloud keeps interrupting. Finally Cloud says this like he's a small child. At least he does in japanese. It's so funny. At least I thought so)
Those are just a few of my favorites. Also, on a side note, I thought the Japanese voice actor for Sephiroth was way better than the English one. Of course, I thought that for every character.
When Cloud is talking to Rufus and he is asking him to help them out or something. And Cloud was all like "I'm a delivery boy now..." That was pretty funny.
Also when Denzel was like "Son of a bitch!" I was like whoa.
It's not really a line, but when Tifa and Loz are fighting and Loz's cell phone goes off and it's playing the winning battle theme or something he's kinda like "ugh.." That was great.
What the hell was up with that line by sephiroth " I will.... (7 seconds of silecnce) never be a memory. Why was their such a long pause
In the Japanese dialogue, he says, "I... will never be a memory". However, in an English dub, there's no conceivable way to make "I" lip-synch over "Watashiwa".Quote:

I also liked the part (I know it's not a line) when Reno steps on and breaks Rude's glasses, Rude at that moment seems more concerned over his shades than the enemies they are facing.

my also faviourate line is when denzel say " son of a bitch" it took my minutes to get it straight. in the japanies version the translation was "damn you" i guess.

And of course, thought it isn't a line per-say but *phone rings* lol, it's the winners theme! that bit made me laugh so hard my friend had to pause the DVD
I've never played FFVII, but I was geussing that the ringtone was the winning theme. It just sounded so strange. At first, I thought someone was playing it because Tifa (supposedly) beat Loz. I was expecting someone (the cat, maybe? Can't remember his name. I can remember the main characters names, but not him.) to walk in saying "congratulations, Tifa". I don't know. I just was.Quote:

However, of the two versions, I would have to that the Japanese version is much, much stronger and, in some ways, poignant. There's just something about the way Sephiroth's Japanese voice actor says "Watashiwa"

Reno and rude had awsome lines, but Rufus still outclassed everyone's lines in that movie. Even when faced against Kadaj with his life, he won't back down from him and continues to talk down to him. The way they did it really brought out his character. While I hated him in the game, in AC he was my favorite Character.

I liked that line as well, particularly the slight sarcastic emphasis on good used by the English voice actor.
Rufus had a particularly good time manipulating people and events in AC. If he'd been more open and honest with Cloud and the Turks at the beginning, Kadaj and co. might've been defeated earlier and the attack on Edge might've been avoided. Possibly. However, it was great to see Rufus finally acknowledge the power and value of life, and the importance to preventing the Reunion taking place.

such a great film and so many cool and funny lines. the "so what if im a puppet." line is cool and cids "if you want off your gonna have to jump off." is cool too. im disspointed that barret didnt say "cloud! get your spikey but over here!" or something along those lines.
Well, he called him "foo'" and "spikey" in the message on Cloud's phone, which makes up for it:pQuote:

Sephiroth: Tell me what you cherish most. Give me the pleasure of taking it away...
