I don't see a similar thread around here so I decided to make a poll about this.
Which one is your favourite song? For me, I adore FFX Suteki Da Ne, FFIX Melodies of Life and FFX-2 1000 Word.
I'm sorry if I miss out any, and for Cid's Knight, close this thread if need.

I've always thought that FF8 had the best music in the series.
I love 1000 words and Real Emotion of FF X-2,
Eyes on Me of FF 8 and Otherworld of FF X.

Suteki Da Ne for me. I really like that one instrument (not sure what its called), but its in alot of similar japanese songs.
Even though FFIX is my favourite game, I like Eyes on Me the most.
Aria di Mezzio Carattere. The 23 minute orchestral version.
I love all of them up there, except Eyes on Me. Bad memories.
My vote goes to Liberi Fatali and Suteki Da Ne. Aside from those, the only other song I even like in that poll is OWA (and parts of Melodies of Life, but not the whole thing).
:( No To Zanarkand? That is MY favorite. I can play the whole piano version, I even sometimes find myself humming it.

I think the one your thinking about is "Your Not Alone!", but I'm really not sure, it may be the one before that on the OST.
Doesn't melodies of Life feature in FFVIII too? Am I correct in saying it is the tune played over the credits?

If by Liberi Fatali you mean the song that plays during the opening sequence of FFVIII, then that would be it. One-Winged-Angel is a close second.
Well its not on the poll but To Zanarkand is my favourite FF song of all time, its from FFX.

Sephiroth's theme song. I thought it was quite funny. Other than that I liked Otherworld (not while fighting Jecht, though, just the opening)

I must say I prefer that to all the others. Its like an Orchestral piece. A song full of different moods. :p
I like Eyes On Me the best. I can even play it on guitar.
Liberi Fatali (though I love Eyes on Me, One Winged Angel and Melodies of Life) - great song, and helps make the opening FMV to FFVIII the awesome spectacle it is
