I have to admit a Final Fantasy 8 movie would probably make an excellent addition to the newly growing number of FF movies. But i think sticking to true Final Fantasy style and producing another full length CG motion picture would probably be a more sensable thing to do. A FF8 film is a nice idea though as I thought that FF8 had a more gripping an tragic romantic storyline then any other.

laguna and party arent in twentys in the game, they are in the past. and i asume the movie you are so speculating about would be after the game itself? well than laguna and party are at ~45 and squall and co are ~18 quistis and seifer are one year older than the rest and rinoa is one year younger than the rest. as for edea, she is probably in tirtys as she seems still failry young in the game when they are having that flashback at trabia.

Also, the Live DB was a foreign knockoff of the first major DB arc, and no one related to DB sanctioned it.
The live action Stars must refer to the Sera Myus musicals, which run the gamut from great to mind numbing. All are amusing as hell, though.
House of the Dead I can explain in two words. UWE BOLL.
I can explain SF2 in three. Jean Claude VanDamme. Even the kickass guy who played Bison couldn't pull a VanDamme movie out of the mud.
The problem with Doom was that they couldn't commit. That and the only thing it had in common with actual doom after the changed it was the generic crap.
I liked Super Mario Bros. Had nothing to do with SM, but then again, they had nearly nothing to work with, and managed to make a decent product.
Basically, it's all about respecting the material.

Also, the Live DB was a foreign knockoff of the first major DB arc, and no one related to DB sanctioned it.
The live action Stars must refer to the Sera Myus musicals, which run the gamut from great to mind numbing. All are amusing as hell, though.
House of the Dead I can explain in two words. UWE BOLL.
I can explain SF2 in three. Jean Claude VanDamme. Even the kickass guy who played Bison couldn't pull a VanDamme movie out of the mud.
The problem with Doom was that they couldn't commit. That and the only thing it had in common with actual doom after the changed it was the generic crap.
I liked Super Mario Bros. Had nothing to do with SM, but then again, they had nearly nothing to work with, and managed to make a decent product.
Basically, it's all about respecting the material.

Kagome has IIRC green eyes in Inu Yasha.

Fruits Basket has the bright orange haired Kyo, purple eyed Yuki, etc.
Ouran High Host Club stars all japanese people. There are four blonde members of the regular cast.
There are a lot of blonde japanese in Anime. It's one of those odd things.
