...We only got to watch cartoons once a week and they didn't suck.
I miss Looney Toons. "The Rabbit of Seville" is the greatest cartoon ever made.
So, in honor of Cartoon Nostalgia Day, what cartoons do you miss? :)

Never, and that is saddening
I also miss looney tunes...My favorite cartoon of all time was Bugs Bunny's "What's Opera, Doc?" ^^
Looney Tunes and Transformers. The real ninja turtles rock back then.Ducktales!WooOOoo!I miss these cartoons.
Scooby-Doo.
The Mario cartoons, the GOOD Sonic cartoons, not the stupid future ones with a squirrel and not the Sonic X ones, the old old ones with Grounder and stuff like that. Also, Thundercats. And this cartoon I saw a few times when I was really young that I can't remember the title of and no one else knows. Donald Duck was also awesome.

There are also some more I cannot remember.
Let's see, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, Tail Spin, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Bonkers, Ronin Warriors, and Samurai Pizza Cats.
100% spot on, the old cartoons were the best. I wasnt a huge fan of Looney Toons.Quote:

So many, both good and bad. I was actually having this conversation with my friends last week. :p
-Ninja Turtles
-SWAT Kats
-Street Sharks
-Spider-man, X-men, Iron Man, Fantastic Four
I was deprived as a kid and didn't have many channels, so I missed out on a lot of the great Disney cartoons. :(
Oh god, I love Looney Toons. Bug Bunny was my absolute hero. I wish they'd play more of the Pink Panther cartoons -- I miss some of the good Scooby Doo cartoons, too. The ones these days are all...crappy. Shaggy sounds daft. :/ I love Tom and Jerry but luckily they still play that sometimes ^_^ and and I love the old Mickey Mouse and Friends cartoons -- really old Mickey stuff, like "Steamboat Willie" etc. Those were brilliant.
Transformers and Care Bears.
Transformers and Tiny Toons. Especially baby Plucky playing minigolf. "Look daddy, it's blimp!"
I have 24 or so episodes of Tiny Toons on my computer right now, actually. Probalby more like 30 or 40 by now... I'm trying to find that pre-mentioned minigolf thing. Baby Plucky is so cute!
EDIT: I probably miss 50% of the cartoons I used to watch, but those two are the main ones of recent times. The X-Men cartoons were also completely awesome.
I have the entire series of Samurai Pizza Cats on my computer! :D
You, sir, win the topic.Quote:

It's amazing how the exact tone of these Baby Plucky quotes can come rushing back. XDQuote:

I used to love Tom & Jerry too. Oh man, I loved cartoons when I was younger.
And there were these cartoons in Poland at 7 pm (or 19:00) that I would always watch when I visited. Those were good. And there would be animes on sometimes too (Like sailor moon) that my grandparents would tape for me.
Cartoons = good times. :love:
Teletubbies :(
All these BRATZ Tv Shows just don't compete. What with the Teletubbie toast, and the teletubbie bye bye.
And that show, I dont think they show it anymore. Crystal Maze? <3
Button Moon
Blinky Bill
Tabaluga
Dungeons + Dragons
The Fruities
Johnny Bravo
Aww, I loved Freakazoid. :love:Quote:

Animaniacs OMG ANIMANIACS
Pinky and the Brain (spin-offs are ok)
Hysteria (Animaniacs mk. II)
Looney Tunes
TMNT (not TMHT)
Transformers (the original)
DuckTales
X-Men
Sonic (the original)
Garfield and Friends
I was reminiscing about the Get Along Gang lastnight to kishi, but I don't really miss it so much.
I just miss there being nice cartoons are have art that doesn't look like every other one, or crazy mecha robots everywhere. I mean, mecha is nice in anime, but little girls aren't really interested in them usually!

I loved the Animaniacs, although sometimes they did drive me nuts. xD

I have the theme song memorized.
Captain Planet!
And He-Man :>D
I miss all 'dem good ole' 80's cartoons. Like My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite, Rose Petal Place and the like. And Doug. I liked Doug.
Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Angry Beavers :D Oh! Invader Zim too :D
Finally, someone said He-Man. :D He-Man and She-Ra were great cartoons. The origanal TMNT and Sonic, Tom and Jerry, even though that's still on CN, Inspector Gadget, Tiny Toon, Looney Toons, Animaniacs, all great cartoons.Quote:

And Oh! This show! It was on Nickolodean or however you spell it.
Kenan and Kell?
My god. Good times.
"Oraaaaaaangeeee Soodddaaa"
Noone's said Rocko's Modern Life:( ? Well I for one, miss that show more than any other. Either that or X-Men.
Now I remember the names of the shows I was thinking of earlier! They were "Ahhhhhhhhh! Real Monsters" and "Pepper Ann".
If you're talking 'bout AMERICAN cartoons then I do agree, but cartoons in general have become WAY better when you talk 'bout anime and its total domination in the cartoon world.
There are SOME good cartoons left, Billy and Mandy are pretty cool, but yeah a lot of new cartoons have the same artistical style, every Marvel and DC cartoon look the same, it's so sad.
I blame Spongebob.
My favorite of all time was the Bugs Bunny episode "Kill the Wabbit" I don't know that name of it but you guys know what I'm talking about! :)
Ducktails, Tiny Toons, and the Animaniacs.
Edit: Pinky and the Brain.
Johnny Bravo, Tiny Toons, Speed Racer, and Animaniacs are my all time favorites. :D
Duck Tales and Spider-Man.
Sooo many ;_; My list would be composed of most of the ones mentioned, and Rocky and Bullwinkle and Bump in the Night.
Transformers (Was my obsession for MANY years)
He-Man (By the power of Grayskull!)
Power Rangers (Oh god I loved this, until it was canceled due to teaching kids to beat each other up)
TMNT, the original series
Beast Wars (not as good as the original Transformers, but I loved it nonetheless)
Swat Kats (I loved it, too bad it was reruns all the time)
These are the ones I most fondly remember, there were many many others I loved, but those are the best ones
*nods*
School House Rock
The Magic School Bus
Freakazoid and Pinky and the Brain would fall in this category. But I still think that a few modern cartoons don't suck.
Cartoons make education fun.Quote:

I don't miss TMNT. That cartoonsuckedrocked the boat.
*looks over the pile of original TMNT cartoon DVDs and tapes*
Invader Zim. Even though I only saw one episode, it rocked. :)
If we're posting newer good cartoons that got cancelled before their time, Megas XLR was an awesome show.Quote:

The Roadrunner... I used to love it :p
Thundercats
Dragonball (drraaaggonnn balll!)
Dragonball Z (eh... i hate it now)

Tiny Toons, Dexter's Laboratory, The VERY old episodes of Rugrats, Tom and Jerry, and if anime counts, Sailor Moon.
The original Transformers (not the sucktastic new versions), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Tick (cartoon), Widget the World Watcher, Captain Planet and Denver the Last Dinosaur to name a few. The list is eternal..........and its true, most cartoons that come out nowdays do suck
All of you except Azar, BoB, and Del suck. :mad2:
Spider-Man and X-Men were the best old cartoons. There are other old cartoons I sort of miss, but those two far more than the others. I'd watch them again if they were on TV. :(
