They were placed on this earth so that we could all use the phrase, "like moths to a flame" whenever it we need to.
They're annoying and eat our cotton clothes. It gives us something to complain about.
They exist so some company could make a bundle on the production of mothballs.
Moths are cute. :(

Haha, I just finished reading a book about evil moths that kill people. And it was totally believable because moths are the worst things ever. They're so icky. Just their bodies and the way they move...it's sick. I hate them. Always landing on my TV/computer screen. Jeez louise.

Oh man this one time, I like, completely lost my mind, I don't know WHAT happened, but there was this huge dead moth on the table, and I unconsciously picked it up and just....squished it. I rubbed it together with my fingers and it totally dissolved. I washed my hands for a LONG time after I realized what happened. Yuck.

Moths exist to feed bats that are too unskilled to eat mosquitos. If bats that are to unskilled to eat mosquitos died of hunger there'd be less bats meaning there'd be less mosquitos being eaten which means the world would be a lot more mosquitoey!!! I think.

I'm less likely to kill a large moth, but most of the moths in my flat are only a couple of millimeters wide and about 5mm long. God, they're annoying, though. I hate them.
My sister is terrified of moths, and whenever she sees one fluttering around she runs out of the room squealing. They are wonderful things. :D
