Okay everyone, I'm going to list what I think are possible couples for FFVI. Does anyone have any evidence of any of these listed couples actually existing?:confused:
1. Locke/Celes
2. Locke/Terra
3. Edgar/Terra
4. Setzer/Celes
Any evidence at all will do :D Even if it's just to absolutely prove they aren't a couple.
The evidence for this couple appears in the game itself. Although it doesn't confirm it, it makes it obvious. Locke was the one who rescues her while trapped under the house in South Figaro. And then in the game ending when escaping Kefka's Tower, Locke rescues her when she nearly falled off the ledge and he said to her that he's "never gonna let her go." There were other references, but I don't remember them at the moment. Been a while since I played the gameQuote:

Edgar has the feelings for Terra, but I highly doubt they are reciprocated.
4. If you don't get Locke, then Setzer saves Celes in Kefka's tower, but it's probably more out of friendship than love. Yes, he does like her because she looks like Maria, but Maria also looks like his former pilot friend, Daryl. All three of them are blonde, and have long hair. No doubt that Setzer is based off of Hugh Hefner.

I have heard people say that Setzer and Terra would be more likely because of Setzer trying to save her when the Blackjack breaks in two at the end of the WoB.Quote:

The prove is I always heal Terra with Mog and vice-versa.
Terra will give birth to a cute hybrid - Moogle/Human
But, the game want Terra/Locke couple.
Locke/Celes, obviously.
I never found Edgar and Terra that "meant" for each other or anything, and Celes is more Locke's type than Terra ever was.
Mog and Umaro are into S&M. Mod is the sadist, Umaro is the masochist, of course.
Terra isn't fully human though, she's half esper and half human...sorry I just like that ^^ It's such a cool twist to the game.Quote:

Locke and Celes seem to be hitting it off in the games at certain times, but remember, Locke's heart still is true to Rachel it seems no matter what.
Shadow and Interceptor. Only Interceptor. I guess Shadow will have strong feelings for a certain other individual little girl...*cough* won't spoil it though *cough*, but not in a romantic relationship of course. That's just wrong then.
Setzer and Terra would be a cool one, but I think Edgar would try to hit on Terra and take her. So we'll give Gogo the "it" to Edgar to make him happy.
I don't think VI really had many couples like V. Remember, they were at a point of life and death.
Use your imagination. We are not saying that these people actually had a thing for each other, we are voicing who would have been good as couples together...
I liked the IDea of Terra/Shadow myself.
Yeah, they'd make a pretty cool couple too ^^ Really, Terra could go with just about anyone...something about her just makes me think that.

He's probably in this thirtes, based on the age of Relm, and his behaviour in his dreams. It doesn't seem like he is an older person in them (by that I mean 25+), even if Baram seemed much older (maybe by a few years).
I don't understand why people are a fan of Terra and Shadow: yeah they had a moment, but wasn't there a matter of urgency to the question? She had to decide, no matter what. Shadow went through the same thing and it seems like he is pushing her to choose, just as a teacher tests a student. Not to say it isn't possible, it's just wierd. Relm be Terra's step-mother?

I think it should be Locke/Celes and Terra/Edgar, But strangely enough.
If Rachel was alive I'd go for Locke/Rachel, only because Celes seems like she'd be clingy and Rachel seemed to be more innocent and Locke was the adventurer, Celes seems like she'd go on adventure's with Locke but then someone grabs her and she'd be all "OMG-LOCKE-I-NEED-SAVING-BECAUSE-I-JUST-LOST-MY-ADVETURER-SKILLZ!!!!!!1!1ONE!!1!" so it'd almost seem clashing, Rachel just shouldn't have gone on the adventure's and just awaited Locke to come back. Celes' couldn't handle that.
I think Terra and Edgar are just cute 'cause they're awkward, and there's nothing wrong with awkward relationships that tend to not go very far because the awkward-ness. o o;;;

I personally like the idea of Relm/Gau, even if he IS three years older than her...
I quite like Locke/Celes, but yeah, Locke/Rachel is better. Then Celes can be with Edgar or Sabin instead.

Terra/Setzer. I'd like that couple even if Daryl were alive.

Unless you mean around the time of the events of the game. Because that is slightly....hm, well the idea of a year 8-9 going out with a year 5 seems a bit wrong to me.
But once they are older, three years would be nothing.

Locke rescued Celes and told her that he was going to protect her. I think there is evidence that Edgar and Terra like each other but I don't remember what it was.
It was Edgar flirting with Terra when they first meet, and she says to herself afterwards "Any normal girl would have found him charming..."Quote:

Though I'll admit to liking the fairly "normal" couple of Locke and Celes, and I think Terra and Sabin could be cute together. Shame I have a low tolerance for cute...
