Can anyone think of any funny sounding mistranslations you've heard? Not just from games?

That one is one of my favorites. ;)

Haha! I could come up with some perverted thoughts about that, but let's not get into it this time.Quote:

"Truly!?" - FFIV
"You have no chance to survive make your time!" - Zero Wing
Zero Wing, Zero Wing and oh, Zero Wing!
tee hee, "What happen?"
Most of those GBA Rockman games I've heard have hilarious ones. My friend showed me this particular, "What a polite young man she was". xD
There are quite alot though...incompetent translators.
Oooh games ;) I thought you meant mistranslations in general. PIF wrong forum *whaps Genji*

I have on several occasions claimed Victoly as oppose to Victory.
"I'm glad... to recieve your fist... master" and then replied to with "Shut up! Talking makes you die!" The Legend Of Dragoon
This could be for any mistranslations you saw, not just games I guess.
I once saw an arcade shooter that had a map including the 'Mediterranean See'. :D
engrish.com is the best place for non-video game mistranslations. They have something against Zero Wing though. Too bad, because it's the ultimate in funny bad translations.
"This guy are sick." :D
Our university's restaurant has funny English translations to their meals sometimes. You people know meat balls, right? Once we had a vegetable version of it, i.e. vegetable balls, and the menu had it written as something like, "Vaegetable cake". The university's cafe has food and drinks you can buy and take with you, they're called Take-Away products. Once they had a sign that was calling those products "Take-A-way". :D
I have found a lot of Engrish over the years. I absolutely love Engrish. xD A more recent one I found in a 99 Cent Store:

All your base.
:D
My little Brian_the_Shark has a book full of weird translations. Things like 'Toilet oout of order. Please use floor below'.
'Don't fold pushchair while child is inside' or something. I don't think that was a translation, just something to be safe. You can sue for anything in America.
This isn't quite a mistranslation, but...
My uncle went to China a while back. While there, he went to a restaurant that had "Noodles and Beef Balls" on the menu. He, of course, asumed it meant Spaghetti and meatballs. When they came out with the dish, he found that it was, indeed, a plate of noodles with three large beef balls on top.
Don't know why it's three, but ... He said it was a very good meal :P
Warning: Keep out of children. - Warning on a Korean kitchen knife
Gives you strong mouth and refreshing wind! - On a toothpaste box

Oh, dear... :D:rolleyes2
These are less engrish more quirky Japanese, but they fit here better than anywhere else.
On the official website for a Japanese rock band, SID. It used to say, ''roading'' -- which is reasonable but its funny at first. xD
Also, I once saw in a shop --
''bye your tee-cup there''
It was a sign in the window, hand-written and honestly, it said that.
did anyone post this one? http://engrish.com/detail.php?imagen...ate=2003-09-02
No, but that one is awesome.
America 1:1 Italy
I saw that and nearly cried. It is lies.
