Do you believe that you get seven years of bad luck, if you brake a mirror? I can't count how many mirrors I've broken. :(

no
Nope.. but I don't exactly go around breaking mirrors and recording my bad events either.
Hey that sounds like an awesome episode of mythbusters!
7 years is nothing. I'm going to die for all the chain mails I never forwarded.

Nope, and i never break mirrors so who cares?
Don't really believe in it but if there's any curse for breaking plates I should have died a thousand times already...=_=
Hah, I remember when an old friend of mine in Junior School came into my classroom to pick up some mirrors. A lot of mirrors. Those tiny ones. As soon as he walked out I heard this SMASH. Man, it was funny. But he's had better luck in life than me...
Not really. I don't believe in luck, since I believe that everything in our lives is predetermined i.e. it only can turn out one way. So the idea of influencing our future through seemingly non-descript action is nothing short of ludicrous.
I don't know. I've never broken a mirror, though. :jess:
I often carry a mirror shard with me for some odd reason. Flogged it from the art class one day xD
Personal mirror, without looking like a sissy xD
Not that I actually USE it. I am rather weird..
No, i don't. Its the same with walking under ladders, i've done plenty of times just to test my luck and nothings happened.
Nah, not really.
Not really. I think I broke a little mirror before. xD
I don't know about not believing in luck itself, but I don't believe that someone can somehow hold on to luck or have luck 'attributed' to them for more than a single moment/event/occurance of such luck. Luck, to me, is just like chance. Sometimes things go your way, and that's lucky, and sometimes they don't, and that's unlucky.Quote:

Existed on Friday 13th.

Seen black cats (this doesn't happen as often in the UK, mind you).
Stepped on cracks (my Mum's back has yet to break)
Put a hat on my bed.
Opened an umbrella indoors.
Killed a spider in my house.
Walked underneath ladders.
Said 'Good luck'.
Said 'Thankyou' to someone who had wished me good luck.
Picked up a penny face-down.
Put shoes on a table (I think I have, anyway. I don't remember doing it recently, though...)
Seen one magpie.
I don't believe I've ever broken a mirror, though.
I dont think Ive ever broken a mirror because I really dont want 7 years bad luck. We've had alot of bad luck the last 2 years!
It could be any 7. Years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds, miliseconds.
Who needs to break a mirror to feel like a victim of karma? It's just an excuse. But yeah, probably.
I walked under a ladder, I think. I remember everybody going mad saying "ZOMFGH YOU STOOD UNDER A LADDAER!!1 ZOMG!"
I broke a Mirror too. I don't believe in any of luck stuff, though Im almost positive my family is cursed. Every job we have done around the house goes wrong. Every single one! ^_^
That's just another superstition to add to the list of stupid human pre-occupations with myth. Don't worry about it.
I should be dead if bad luck works that way. I believe bad luck only follows you if you continue to worry about it. Then your not paying any attention to what is going on around you. Then something bad is bound to happen.
The mirror thing is true, I'm 100% certain of that. I've broke enough mirrors to know. You've got to break another mirror after the one you've broken, because then that cancels out your bad luck.
I say I'm not supersticious (sp?) but deep down I think I am.
No, I do not. I'm not very superstitious.
I broke all of them.
Nope, I don't believe in superstitions.
I've never broken one I don't think...but now I'm going to break a mirror so I can blame everything that happens to me on it for the next 7 years instead of myself...I enjoy the easy way out.
Maybe your breaking of the next 999 mirrors after the first one was due to the bad luck from the first one, have fun with your 7000 years of bad luck.
