i actually spent the long time getting Tidus Kimihari and Yuna's sphere grids completely filled and Omega weapon was too easy for them... i wish he coulda been more challangeing. Yuna cast'd Ultima and it was dead. (i had tidus and Kim go defense mode)

If I'm not mistaken, Omega have 999999HP in PAL.

So, my party is Kimahri, Wakka, Yuna. Kimahri lancet him, Wakka haste everyone and Yuna Oblivion them!

It wasn't hard as such, just time consuming, mainly due to my chars not having enough training (4000-6000 HP, average of 100-125 stats), and Omega Weapon having 1,000,000 in my version. I didn't have Yojimbo (I don't use him), Anima or the Magus Sisters until after I beat Dark Valefor (I was missing the Besaid Destruction Sphere).

I am very sure that International version Omega have 999999HP.

No, harder. Omega has 10x as much health. I found that out the hard way. I barely hung on for a bit with Auto-life but eventually lost.

All I did to kill him was a lot of Blitz Aces, Tornadoes, Ultima and Magus Sisters. I was surprised to see how easy he was

Of course, PAL is harder unless you're attempted to kill all optional boss with Zanmato (The pay for Zanmato in PAL version is 1/2 of NTSC version).

Omega is way too easy. I mean, Oblivion, Blitz Ace and Attack Reels can kill him easily (I won't say Delta Attack because they only hit for 7 times while you need 9 hit to finish Omega in PAL)

Quick Hit didn't sucked in PAL. The damage is capped at 99999. So in order to finish Omega (In PAL), you need 10 Quick Hit (Doing 99999 damage each hit).

Quick Hit is still everyone's favourite.

In PAL, maybe but in NTSC, Trio of 9999 can help. Since NTSC version Omega have 99999HP, you need 10 hit of 9999 damage but PAL's Omega have 999999HP, so you need 100-101 Hit of 9999.

You can use Lancet on Nemesis to learn Nova.

Well! If you have notice people will use their aeons because they don't want to die okay?! And plus thats why there are aeons! To use them on really hard monsters! But, anyways my party can always woop omega weapon just like that!

Well..eh..not really just for fighting them. They can be used for easier monsters as well and just to get by a battle quicker.

by the time i decided to fight omega weopon my wakka did 99,999 for his regular attack with World Champion (ultimate weapon) since i got him through everyone spheregrid (i like to over level for the amusement of DESTROYING the game). so i used lancet so kimarhi would learn nova and then attacked with wakka... that's it... end of story.

I think i just normal attack him to death like most encounter. Just go mop around and unlock more of your sphere grid. It will do the trick. :bigsmile:

I think the Weapons model in this game really rox though. Love how the wings thingy at the back could actually turn into a cannon.

Oh yeah Omega weapon, he killed me on my first try and then you had to go through a long dungeon to return. Relatively tough with a normal playthrough but once you open the can of worms that is the Monster Arena.... Yeah he won't be Omega weapon no more, he'll be Omega Deadpon. Oh ho ho ho!!!!!!!
