For me, although FHM is a good read (and where this thread was inspired from), I have to say the best thing I've read while on the loo would have to be Reader's Digest, back when I was in NZ and my family had them subscribed. Good stuff, that RD!
Comics.
I always take my PC Gamer magazine into the toilet with me. Either that or the book I am reading at that time.
I don't take reading material to the toilet with me! Nobody should be on the toilet that long that they need something to read!

But in my house it's me, my kids and hubby who all wash hands properly (or use diapers) so I don't have to worry about gross stuff. I read anything that's in there, usually Time magazine.. With politics the way it is in US right now, it's usually an inspiration ;) But I never take my wireless laptop in there.

My Dad has a series of books called "Uncle John's Great Big Bathroom Reader" or something close to that. They're just books of trivia and other useless info. But good reads none the less....:)

The Book of Mormon is one of my personal favorites.
I used to read porno mags on the toilet but you can imagine what happened by accident.
