Tough question.
Castlevania - Symphony of the Night (1997)
The Greatest Game
tomb raider II was pretty good
1997 i think
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Ten years... that's a bit broad. My favorite years of gaming were between 1994 to 1999, the late 16 bit to 32 bit era. Coincidentally enough, the golden age of RPGs as well. Your question is still a bit too broad though. What genre are you going for? Looking for a solid platformer like Yoshi's Island or Rockman and Forte? Or a good RPG like.... Lord knows how many. Any specific gaming system at least?
Clock Tower for PSX
Suikoden II
Planescape Torment
Any game, any genre, for any platform (although, preferably the PC)Quote:

Either The Legend of Zelda or Final Fantasy VII.
Sonic the Hedgehog, 2, 3 and Knuckles for the Mega Drive: The king of consoles
Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy VI,
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
All good games.
FFVII, and any games made by Apogee.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Mario Kart
Edit: Alpha Centuraii, too.
Super Metroid.
All I had during that time period was an NES and a Gameboy/GBC. So I pick:
Pokémon.
Try the sonic mega collection. it has all of the sonic games that came out on the sega during the nineties.
Chrono Trigger
Phantasy Star II (I think it's early 90s)
Hmmmm pretty hard maybe final fantasy VIII?
Final Fantasy VII :choc2:
Final Fantasy III (VIj)
Chrono Trigger
Shining Force (the whole fricken searies)
Phantasy Star II, III,IV
Secret of Mana
Final Fantasy II
Asheron's call
Jedi Knight

I am probably the only one that will mention Klonoa Door to Phantomile X3...
-Grim Fandango. It's an absolute must-buy for anyone who likes adventure games.
-Omikron, the Nomad Soul. If you find this on discount, it's definetly worth it.
-Heroes of Might and Magic 3. It's actually seen as better than Heroes of Might and Magic 4. It combines civilization building with turn-based battles, and is one of the most addictive games ever.
-Age of Empires 2. This may be old, but I still find it great. Try to find it with the expansion pack.
-Monkey Island series (the last one was in 2000, but whatever)
Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, Final Doom
I have that.Quote:
