Misc. Character elimination game (Season 1)

There are 64 characters in this game, from DC, Marvel, WB, Disney Capcom, and FF/KH. They start out in two groups of 32 each. Vote for who you think is going to the next round, and who is out; it may influence my decision.

Unless the votes are garunteed to affect it rather than a may, it would probably work better. Especially with the emphasis you put on may, kinda kills the reason for voting.

Why do you need more votes? They don't mean much, when it's your decision in the end.

Well, I WILL take some of your votes into my decision. Whenever I get mixed reviews, I take the best from both.

Look at it this way: not every thread is successful. I've made several threads over the years that saw not even one post. If people aren't posting and voting, they don't like the concept or care about the concept enough to do so. Allow the thread to die gracefully and then MAYBE try it again after three or four months.

Three months?! No way! I'll restart this in about a week or so. A new thread.

No, you won't. If people aren't posting, restarting the thread won't help, and if you keep posting the thread I will continue to close and delete them. Continue to do so and you will be banned. We don't need someone making the same thread every week because people aren't interested in it.

I think the thread might work if the votes counted for more than suggestions. Make a thread for the first group, make a poll with all of the contestants or whatever in it, then allow people 8 votes each. After the time has expired, have it closed, then make one for group 2.
