Would you rather be Raistlin or dead??? O_O

You see those old people who are like 90 years old, and have to hobble around with a walking aid all the time, and can barely speak and croak and finds it really hard to do anything because of their age? During my first job when I worked at Taco Bell, this old man used to come like every other day or semi-regularly and he'd be using the walking aid, going so slow, and he'd ask for the same thing every time and ask me to fill up his soda for him cos' it takes so much effort for him to go there and fill it up himself, I felt really bad for him and that just made me feel sad. xD After I quit the Taco Bell job, I went back once in a while (it's been a few years) and I never saw the old guy there again :(

So, would you ever want to be that old, or would you rather go at a younger age?

I dont know, I dont want to die young, but I dont want to live to the point where I need a person with me 24/7. I'd want to be dead if I had to live like that. Then again, you would be alive and seeing your grandkids grow up.

Right now, I would want to go at a younger age. But once I get to the point where I'm like 60 or 70, who knows how I'll feel. Maybe I'll want to cling to life. I dunno.

I want to die before I have to rely on anyone.

I'd rather be an old age Raistlin, for sure. Of course, I wouldn't want to die at the age of 90. It seems that by 90, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is boring. It's just T.V. and Meds to help you live long enough to watch T.V. for about 2 more weeks.

Speaking of old people and fast food restaurants, I went to a Hardee's once (Yes, only once!) and there was an old guy who worked there. His job? To stand by the door and say "Welcome to Hardee's!" when you walked in, and shake your hand. Though when I left, he was sitting down. Maybe he was out of breath. Poor guy. I don't think I could really make a decision about dying young versus old right now, because who knows what kind of advancements in medicine and technology we'll have in the next 60 years?

I'll be dying young. I don't want to be an old wreck.

I choose death. I spent the first several years of my life depending on others for support, I don't want to live like that ever again.

At this point, I want to stay alive as long as possible, just because I haven't accepted death yet. Even if it is barely alive.

I hardly know Raistlin, so I can't really answer.

I think I'll die at around 35. So I won't have to be an old person, but I'll have a good 20 years to do stuff. :D

lol 35 is pushing it a bit xD I don't consider 35 year olds to be old people. In fact, we have a few ~35 year olds posting at these forums so don't let them see that :shifty:

Pretty much, but I don't know how often Raisin gets laid and by whom, so I'll reserve judgement until I do know.

Dead diffently dead! no way in hell would I ever want to be that old once your in capable of doing things its time to let go how can you enjoy life when can't even enjoy walking up stairs I couldn't survie :( .

Raistlin never really seemed like a bad of a guy to me. He seems smarter than me and if I read right he might even be younger than me. What is there to lose?
