The loading screen was cool. And the main menu looks wicked, the music was good.
Pity its going to take 35 days for the full site.
As far as I can see it's not even ready yet :s
It has a timer with 35 on it and says till full website. So no it isnt ready yet.

I like that the teaser says Final Fantasy XII is "the most anticipated role-playing game of all time." I'm surprised Square and Sony's ego can both fit on one console.
I'm pretty pumped for it anyway though. Time to start marking my calender like a true nerdy fanboy.

Ahem. Now that I've got that over with, I have to say that I thought the trailer was pretty lame. Apparently, Squeenix decided to take the Hollywood approach to trailers: that is to bombard the viewer with flashy footage of explosions and mass destruction, whilst informing them through an overzealous narrator that the product in question is the best thing since sliced bread. It may work for some - but it sure as hell doesn't work for me!
Fortunately for Squeenix, I am already sold on FFXII - so I shall be purchasing it when it finally makes it's way to UK stores, all the same. No amount of poor promotion and advertising is going to stop me!!!

it looks really cool....im just wondering whether its just gonna be another FF10 and 10-2.....just a disapointment......the last truly great FF was FF9.....
I see the logos of the ESRB rating, PS2, Dolby and SE in the bottom, black borders in the left and right sides and there's the Square Enix logo and links for Products & Services and Support in the top, but the rest of the screen is white. My Firefox also claims the page has finished loading. The site doesn't seem to work for me.
Don't use Firefox for it. I use IE even though I have both.
I think Firefox sucks.
Okay, I got the page to load with IE since that had a newer version of Flash Player than Firefox. The trailer has excellent image quality (although I chose the high bandwidth version), and it seems pretty good. However, is it just me or did the lines said by the advertiser in the trailer sound amazingly corny?
I had no problems viewing it in Firefox. Site is awesome BTW, can't wait to play the game.

Well, it kind of is the most anticipated role-playing game of all time.
it's only so anticipated because they've pushed back the realise date so long.
Anyway, Final Fantasy 13 will be more anticipated and so on and so and I'm proving my point wrong anyway.
All in all, its no good having the site up, when the game won't come out until like November.
i hope FF12 is gonna be good and isnt JUST gonna be a clone of star wars i at least hope for a LITTLE innovation in the plot.....:(

what!? bugger-ness!! all thats happends now is instead of it saying 001 days till release it says 0 1 days till release. theyve just poinlessly removed a zero. it shoud open tomorrow though.
I find it laughable that they can't even send me the low-bandwidth stream without 5 buffering pauses. Netlimiter reported 10-15 kB/s from the site.

The timer is set to count down, but doesn't know what to do if it passes 0, and none of the staff cares to fix it.

That was horrible
I had to play the trailer at low bandwidth and it took forever. Kept buffering every five seconds. So I waited for it to completely load before going back and playing it. But whoever set up that site is a freaking retard. Once it's played it's done. You can't re-play it. You click on anything after it's done and it disappears. There's a pause button. But it doesn't turn into a play button when it's done. Retarded.
Yes, the trailer was stupidly slow. I got a whooping 15 kB/s from the site with my 2Mbit ADSL.
