I've started again because my other file is a complete flop(went into future without getting ANYTHING),I used irvine and zell,and i couldnt find the ragnarock.Ultimacea's castle was hard so i gave up.
So with a new file gives new oppetunitys and any advice on anything to do with which characters to use,locations of items/magazines etc. and secrets would go much aprecaited:D
Advice =
- Don't level-up
- Refine Magic from Cards where possible
- Kill off Zell and Squall in Dollet and use Seifer to level up all of your GF's to level 100 (doesn't take as long as you may think)
- Make sure Quelzacote (spelling?) learns Card as soon as possible and use that to kill everything.
- Search around for various items
- Read up on how card rules work and exploit it

yeah play lots of card games but get the ifrit card first that will make it 10x easier
You can get a lot of rare cards in Balamb garden such as Mini mog from the man running around the main ring and the Quistis card from any of the trepe's ( in the 2f classroom or the man in the cafeteria.)

It's not that its just that with Zell and Squall KO'd you dont need to worry about them gaining exp and therefore other monsters leveling up aswell.Quote:

So what it means is that when you are done with the dollet mission you will have a level <10 Squall but level 100 GFs to fight level <10 monsters.
See where that is going?
Yeah but the monsters that you encounter at the begining except T-Rexaur can all be disposed with one GF atack with or withought level 100.Quote:

Nahhh you donīt need to use Squall at all use Zell and Irvine limit break they are much more reliable, Ultimecia is a pretty weak final boss if you have everyone at lv100 and with good juctionings.
Well, I'm planing on using Quistis and Rinoa. Sooo...um, any good tips for them?
Yeah make sure that quistis has shockwave pulsar and give Rinoa lots of good healing magic and have her as you healer. also you don't need Squall's Lionheart I beat the Game using everyone's starting weapon.

Your levels mean nothing. You could have a level 8 party and still pwn Ultimecia.
Well I'm gonna level up just to be sure. And I guess I'll get all the GF's too. But I'm using Rinoa and Quistis, so I dunno what to tell you. I guess I'll just use Invincible Moon and pwn with Aura and Rezokuken. Oh, and Bahamut, too. :) And I'll have to get 100 megalixers too...Quote:

That, and the Meltdown + Cerberus + Aura + Limit Break strategy should take you pretty far. When you get to Ultimecia's final form you can draw and cast Apocalypse on her. That will do some pretty nice damage.
As they mentioned, play an extreme ammount of cards before you leave for timber. Do this, and nothing really else matters, the game is a breeze, whether you level up or do whatever else stated.
Shockwave Pulsar is obtained from Black Matter, which is refined from 100 Curse Spikes by Siren's Tool-RF, but Siren must be level 100 to refine it.Quote:

And Angel Wing is essentially a Magic version of Berserk. You will lose control of Rinoa, but her magic attacks become much more powerful, and she will automatically cast any type of spell in her inventory. However, the magic she casts while in Angel Wing status will not reduce the number of that spell you have stocked. So load her up with Meteors, and watch as she unleashes total devastation on your enemies.
Stock up on magic.
