what did u name garnet?

i dont know y but i can tell the main character and garnet have something special so i name the main character jake (me) and hannah(my girlfriend):D what did u name ur garnet

The first time through the game, I named her Dagger. The second time through the game I named her Sara, then realizing it was 'Sarah' I named her that on the third time.

I went with "Blade". Made sense really.

I name her Sarah, because that's her name.

I usually named her Dagger. I named her Sarah, once, for obvious reasons, but I usually can't stand changing a character's name.

I named her Julia cuz she looked like a Julia to me. My sister named her Angela, which I thought was brilliant for her. :)

But I was thinking of naming her Megan...but next time I'm naming her danielle.

I namd her Lisha though i hate changing the characters name
but I thought Dagger was not her personality at all

My sister does that too, and her name is Sarah so that works out in FFIX. I think I named her Amisha, a character in one of my stories.

I always use the default names when naming characters. Always.

I named her Dagger both times when I played the game.

The first time, before I knew her real name, I just named her Dagger. Now, I always name her Garnet.

Even since then I left them the default. I'm lazy so I don't like changing names to often.

i decided to not cover her alias by letting her keep her real name anyway. Garnet...

It makes no sense if you don't namer her Dagger.

hehehehe:p at first i wrote dagger and then she asked Zidane(which i named him Falcon coz I love that name, and then there was a crystal or something importen called the falcon thing :eep:I forgot+didn't finish the game:eep: ) ANYWAYS, and she asks him if it's okay with him and he says why don't you.. or let's try.., something like that so now it makes sense as in:

"Zidane, what is this thing you use as a weapon?"

"A Dagger..."

"Okay! I have decided what my new name will be Dagger!, is that good with you?"

"Why don't you try Lafaunda?"

You could tell there was a thing between Garnet and Zidane? How in the world did you ever know that ahead of time?

On a whim every runthrough I call her 'Shadow', Zidane is 'Angel', Steiner is usually 'Dumbass' and that's that.

Hahaha..Some of the names you guys come up with are hilarious!!
But, as for me, I never change the characters' names...
Jus think it'll be nice to stick with the default names...

Well first time through I named her "Knife", just because it was sort of ironic. I had tried "Broadsword", but that was obviously too long.

Second time through I named her "Sandy" after my (now deceased) dog.

Garnet, and I always wondered later on if I was missing out on the dialog being given a certain way having done that.

I named ALL my characters Potatoes!

I think I named her Amyst, Garne(forgot the t), and Mistake through the few times I played it, lately though she has her normal name. For Zidane I know I named him Death on the first play through(that was ironic, it was because I had just read a Discworld book).

I wanted to name her $hithead for pure hilarity, but I decided yourmom was funnier.

hmm. naming dagger your girlfriend and watching the but grope scene together. not good :p .

i always keep default names but id just name them after names i think sound cool or memorable charcters from books and other good games.

First time I played it, I named Zidane Andrew and Dagger Sarah. Then I decided to use default.

I stick with Dagger, since I think it's a cool name.

First time I played, I named Zidane: Nemo and Garnet: Melfina.
I dunno what I was thinking when I named him that. XD For Garnet though, it seemed to match well. ^_^

"Sport". Reason being that she might think that sharp items are sporty.

It's pretty boring, but I always just keep default names. I like knowing characters by their official names rather than any stupid thing I will inevitably come up with. On a random note, the Gamestop guy who rung me up had the name Helias. I thought it was very cool and video game character-sounding, and I told him this, and he got very flattered. :kaohappy2

For those of you who named the character after your girlfriend is she she sees that she'll probably leave you as quickly as she found you, you obsessive freak. IF it's a girl you like and she finds out, expect a restraining order, you obsessive freak.

One time I named her Skank. That was my file where I renamed everyone terrible names. Usually I keep default names. I'm not very original with names.

Iszette, after.......uh, not sure. I just didn't want to name her Dagger.

Of course I named her by her real name Garnet.
It would bother me if I changed her name.

Um...ok. Garnet was Loriara, simply, because it sounds cool, second time she was Zarina, LAME, third time, she was Sara.
