I use the SonicStage :riiight:
Winamp on Windows. On Linux I really dig Rhythmbox, which is weird, because I don't care so much for iTunes on Windows, even though Rhythmbox is supposed to be modeled after it.
I use iTunes and I rarely have problems with it. :)
WinAmp FTW.
I used to use Sonicstage (pretty cool to be able to fit about 20 cd's onto one). Then I got my ipod and have been using that ever since. Although I'll still use windows media player or sonicstage if a friend of mine needs a cd burnt.
iTunes on OSX
I use Winamp, for psfs and such, and I use WMP for better library options.
Winamp.
I use winamp3 and I wish daily they hadn't halted development of it:(
I use a Telefunken. It's quite hideous.
XMMS in Linux and Winamp in Windows. I don't like music library organizers, Just give me something to play my music on.
I use windows media player mainly
you have 86 GB of music? do you store them all as .wav files?
I use Media Player, as its quicker to load than the other music player on this PC.
that is a smurfload of mp3s. Granted I'll probably digitize my entire CD collection at some point, but I don't think even that would come to more than 40 GB at most.Quote:

Windows Media Player mainly, Real Player if its an odd file type.
I use RealPlayer. Thought of changing to iTunes at one point, but that never happened. :eep:
I use I-tunes on my XP and WMP on my Win 98 computer
I don't usually listen to music on my computer, I just load up iTunes and stick it on my iPod and take it away. However I just updated iTunes over the weekend... and now it doesn't load anymore. So I'm stuck on my podcasts and such.
When I do listen on my computer, I use this nifty program called 'Quintessential Player'. It's pretty cool, highly reccomended.
I use WinAmp whenever I wanna watch that Jpop channel.
I use Winamp and Ive never had any problems with it.
Me tooQuote:

I use itunes on all my computers.
Winamp is for cool kids.
iTunes doesn't work for me, I mainly use winamp.
I use foobar2000, for one reason, tabbed playlists. It allows me to organize my music into genre based playlists so I don't have one huge ass alphabetized list ... I instead have a bunch of smaller alphabetized lists I can switch to without loading a different playlist.
I have my entire music collection, 50+ GB, organized in folders, by artist and then by album, so something like iTunes or Amarok in Linux is useless to me. I rather use the file manager to browse my library and select any tracks I want to put in a playlist.
musicmatch jukebox
Yamms gets it. The first thing I do when I get a new song is stick it in the right place, then add it to my all-encompassing playlist.Quote:

I use Real Player, sometimes I use Musicmatch.
I use foobar2000. Columns UI is the best thing to happen to any media player.
I'm sorry can you repeat that? xD
I use Windows Media Player 10 and Radio Blog Club.
Winamp.
itunes, but my compy is in peices soooooooo none ^^
I use WMP. I love my version since I could watch videos while doing something else at the same time. By that I mean this:
Does Limewire count?
windows media center and wmp10
not really...well.. I guess.. I dunno!Quote:

Well, it does play songs that you download and what not. So I guess it does count. :DQuote:

I use Amarok. I've used too many players to name, but Amarok for a while now. Yams, Amarok is good as an ID3 tag editor. It also fetches lyrics for songs as you listen to them. It integrates with Last.fm. And it displays album art. Those are the reasons I use it and not XMMS or cousins. XMMS is extremely dated. Does it still use gtk1? It should be taken out behind the barn and put out of its misery.
foobar2000 when I'm in Windows, approximately once per month.
In OS X (when I had OS X) I used various GTK frontends for an MPD daemon running on Linux, via a SSH-tunneled X session over my LAN.
I don't need any of those things. XMMS/2/Beep (XMMS2/Beep use gtk2) support way more file formats than Amarok. At least I haven't been able to find mpc/shn support under Amarok. I just want something simple. It's also pretty slow if you don't use mySQL as the db manager.
I just use Musicmatch Jukebox, since my family has an account and I can listen to songs I may not have otherwise.
I just use RealPlayer because I can't be fussed. I also use Windows Media Player sometimes.
you posted our conversation:eek: :p
Ok Limewire then
