What are everyone's favourite towns?
I like Shumi Village, but after much ff8 playing I decided Winhill is better. That town is just beautiful...
Esthar comes second, with Shumi Village in third.

Esthar comes second, with Shumi Village in third.
Deling City and Esthar, the capitals.
Dollet. I love the look and feel of it.
If I were to live in that world I'd choose Winhill, or possibly FH.
Esthar!
I HATE esthar! Far too futuristic looking.
I like Dollet, pretty cool place. Galbadia garden is pretty neat too.
I like Dollet and Shumi Village is quite ok, since it's like 353 metres below the ground or something.
Esthar was too sci-fi looking for me. Winhill I never really liked, but it's an ok place.
I'd live in the FFVIII world.
No matter what town.
(SeeD for Balamb Garden)
I like to live in any Garden.
As long as I'm not there when the missils hit Trabia!
Esthar, if it wasnt for the annoying music, especially when youre lost
id live in Balamb or galbadia garden..
Hmm living in the Final Fantasy VIII world? What town you ask? I think that I would possibly like living in Balamb because although it's quiet and sleepy it looks to be quite nice and temperate not too hot or too cold. Gabaldia looks too hot but then I quite liked Gabaldia Garden but if I had to live in any of the 3 Gardens I would have probably chosen Trabia (well atleast untill it came to the SeeD test when you move to Gabaldia or Balamb in any case and don't get transferred back.)
Winhill was nice but too sleepy and Dollet seemed a bit too lack lustre for my taste.
Deling City...travelling across the city is too confusing. "the city that never sleeps". i would love to see the sun for once, and usually places given a name like that should have a casino or something to make it worthwhile.
Balamb Garden...peaceful place by the water. a nice place to go fishing, and perhaps be washed away by a tsunami since it's too close to large bodies of water.
Shumi Village...eerily blissful, silent, and cold outside. i am reminded of a Zen Buddhist temple. i'd really love a place of noise like Deling City if only it had the right things. don't forget to wait for me if i ever decide to become a hermit  .
Esthar City...i'm not ready for that kind of place. technology is nice, but it is too blue and i'd stick to moderate things. i don't feel like i belong.
Dollet...reminds me of a citadel for some reason. i'd probably live here if it was the Middle Ages, but then again i can choose another moderate place "to live in".
Timber...i am only reminded of the past events that once took place here. i wouldn't live here anyway, but not because i think that the past is too haunted for me.
Winhill...seems like the best place to be. a place of sun and perhaps wind. i don't like winds if they will blow leaves onto my yard, but i am staying for the sun and the beach ahead.
I like Deling City the best.
I like Esthar and FH. Esthar because it's so hi-tech and pretty looking, and FH because it's peaceful there. I like the music in both places. :D
I like Dollet and Deling city the best.
I really like Winhill a lot cuz it's peaceful, cozy and pretty!!! :jess: I also like all of Raine's pretty flowers in the people's houses. :)
My 2nd favorite would be Dollet, and 3rd is Balamb and Deling City tied. :moomba: :choc2:
Balamb, but i really hate Deling City since its sooo confusing and big
I really like Balamb. It's just so nice and peaceful, you know? Second would be Dollet. I like port cities quite a bit.
I love them all, really. They are all such nice places. However, I've always had a thing for Timber. I don't know why, but I freaking love that place. Perhaps it's the music.
Esthar is the best. I will never get bored there as there is many new things always there. But are there even houses over there...?
Balamb
and Esthar isn't really a town, more of a city
I loved Balamb, so peaceful. But my favourite was the super cool Deling City.
Winhill...
The ruins....what? That's a place right? You could get the tonberries to rebuild it if you have their king. I just think it would be an interesting and nicely secluded place to live(or Research center).
If not then I would probably say whereever it is hottest(which is hard to tell as Esthar is by a desert and a tundra). Probably Deling as it is so big and not too cold and not too hot. They also hold good parades there.
The Desert Prison Duh! lol no. um well i dont think it counts as a city but I like Edea's House the most. But if I had to pick a city or garden then Balamb because they play such lovely musc there.
Maybe Winhill, but its too quiet there... I'd rather stick with Balamb Garden, Balamb itself or Deling City... Dollet is a kewl place aswell.
Timber. I'm not entirely sure why, I just love that place. Both the look and the music remind me of something from when I was younger, I'm not sure what though. The architecture and colour of the town are also very cool.
Balamb. And Dollet. And Deling City.
If I lived in the ff8 world, I'd travel to as many places as possible, but I'd buy a house in Winhill (LOVE that place!) Dollet a second choice in the way of living, and I also love Edea's House (before it got destroyed, of course)
Balamb is my village
Timber is the town
Galbadia is the other side of the river(the 'other' town)
Winhill is were I live
And Balamb Garden is were I want to be!
In my room, resting, and have a mysterius Blond all dressed up making a mid-night apperance. :D
Wait a minute... mine was a brunnette!
I love Dollet and Deling oh and Fisherman's Horizon. I kinda like Eshtar but not really, that place is difficult to navigate around. Everyone dresses weird too. I mean like Dr.Odine looks like a Court Jester.
If I had to live somewhere in FF8 then it would have to be Balamb Garden because it is really nice and peaceful etc. I love that opening FMV of the Garden when you begin the game.
:p :p
I would like to also live in Dollet, but that bloody Communications Tower always puts me off.
:mad2:
P.S - my first post!!!
i liked balamb cause it was a peaceful town.
not filled with drugs and sex.
Centra Ruins!!
You get to live with all the tonberries in the world, along with the tonberry king :D
gotta be fun im sure :D
