That movie bored me.
I loved too, but the end was sad : (
I've never watched it. And I never shall.
I liked the part where the white wolf transformed into a human.
I just watched that movie too. chii, we are so alike. <3 It was really good, I thought. :)
Natalie Portman <3
I loved that freaking movie. I missed the first twenty or so minutes when I saw it at the theater, but we have a free rental for it because it was out of stock at Blockbuster.
I've read the comics, but I haven't seen the movie yet.
*waits to be whisked away to the Lounge*
I heard that the comics are better.
It's a good movie and I'd see it again. It's not as allegorical as I thought it'd be, but it was very entertaining.
I totally dig that movie... 'nuff said. :)
I read the graphic novel, which is very good. I want to see the movie, and shall have to do so at some point.
I think that it was one of the best movies that came out this year
My old set was V for Vendetta :p
I freaking love it.
I thought it was very good.
I liked the part where the white wolf transformed into a human and found the lunar flowers.Quote:

It's a pretty good movie, yes.
The movie was brilliant. I loved it and even took the liberty of downloading it to my iPod 5 months before the DVD came out.
I enjoyed it. I saw it at the cinema and I was expecting a rubbish comic book adaption but I was very pleased with the result.
Suffice to say I am contemplating buying it on DVD....I never buy films, so it must be good. :)
I like this movie, it's very good. ^.^
Ava's gonna kill me for agreeing.Quote:

Oh man, I just saw this movie the other day. I thought it was great. I loved the story and V was just an amazing character, I loved his lines.
I thought it was a very good movie. After the Wachowski brothers produced sub-par films like Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions, I thought this one was going to be another generic action film with nothing but fancy effects, but to my amazement, there was plenty of storyline and emotional moments in the movie.
I really enjoyed this movie. Hugo Weaving is fantastic.
But. Natalie Portman's accent bothered me the whole way through the movie. =x
Excellent movie. I was very surprised. I was not expecting what I saw and was very satified. My only complaint was that the movie moved very slowly but it accomplished so much in that just over 2 hours. Incredible.
That dosent make a whole lot of sense...Quote:

I loved it. :)
I enjoyed how well versed V was in his laguage skills. God, I literally absorbed it.
The begining was... the classic comic book begining, which bothered me but couldn't be helped, but it eventually drew me in to the point that I began to truly become absorbed. I took in every word and phrase and scene.
My favorite line is this:
"Why won't you die!"
"Because behind this mask there is an idea, a notion, and ideas are bullet-proof!"
Something about that line that strikes me as... revolutionary.
I guess they do better with movies where the concept isn't their own. V for Vendetta was a really great comic book mini series, and they stole the idea for the first Matrix from some woman.Quote:

I agree. There is somthing about this phrase that also can be contributed to why the Matrix was very nicely done, and it's legacy just plummited. Your ideas are well suited behind a mask, a ficade. The mask gives an illusion for idealists to cast thier bullets at, while maintianing a a more than etheral existance. The idea, with out the mask, or the mask without the idea, is just a lot less proiminant figure and either too etheral to draw relivence out or too mundane to connect any significance to.Quote:

No, really, it's because they'reQuote:

ty writers.
and that pertains to my point :p When they bring in help, they are not to bad. I beleive they ditched thier ideals from the matrix when the franchised it out. It seems that they humanised the ideaology of Neo way to far.
That mistake could have been done with V, if the ending had gone a slightly different route, and I don't wish to spoil that. I am sure you can connect the dots. They're are not many to connect.

As much as I love Miss Portmann, this movie was a crock of s**t. Complete waste of my hard earned cash. The main guy just simply annoyed the sweet hell outta me. What could be said in one word he said in 5000. Absolute twat.
Portman's accent was good & she was OK in the mobie. The one actor who stood out was Stephen Rea. Solid as usual.
Everything in that movie had been done before & it was done better. There was NOTHING revolutionary in this movie at all, to the contrary most of the lines are worn out & indeed some were so cheesy i could vomit.
Hype can kill a movie but I think the screenplay killed this movie before the hype could.
If they put more things from the comic in the movie, the movie would have been a bit better, But I still love V for Vendetta! I made my dad buy it for me when it came out, even though I've had it on my computer since late June. ^^
I bought the DVD of the movie yesterday and watched it. I thought it had a few questionable parts, and some of the thoughtful parts are a bit overdone, but overall, it was still an enjoyable movie with a lot of storyline. The movie was quite long, but I'm glad they took their time to show all of the story rather than rushing it or the character development.
Haven't seen it YET. But I'm going to, it has Natalie Portman in it.
