It is something earned or otherwise acquired in that sense, is it not? In that case, I feel that there should never be a monetary value placed on a position that demands a level of discernment that speaks of maturity and competence when concerning this site.
And truly, one on staff would be working for a number of thankless citizens, without recieving any wages, though I may be incorrect, but it is to my knowledge that you are not given a salary of any sort while on staff.
It is earned, never bought, due to the priveledges and actions that are acquired when given the position of a Cid's Knight or Administrator.

I gave out some vouchers on occasion to various staffers who I felt had really pulled a shift that year, usually site staff since it's generally the more "worky" task.
