What gives you that feeling?

Do you ever get the feeling of complete happiness where you are so happy that you forget about all your problems and truly experience some rare but true momments of silence in your mind and to have only focus of what is making you happy at that time? Do you ever have momments in your life where you feel so good because of something that you think the whole world around you should lighten up and just try to grasp the feelings, the momment that you are experiencing that the world should keep revolving with you held within this momment for all of eternity?

For me I get feelings this great and strong when I watch some movies or listen to some songs. Do you ever feel like this? If so, when ?

Music and sex.

I think my girlfriend does.
I was sitting with her in one of the most uncomfortable positions, and yet I was sooooo happy. :D

For me it just happens randomly and sprodically...I dunno, maybe I'm weird...

I actually thought that sex would come up alot. Im glad to see that the feeling can come from other places. It makes my world seem a lot larger and better.

Sex... like everyone else said. Not music cus I listen to depressing music. And talking to my friend online always makes me happy... but right now we're fighting and I don't know if we're going to remain friends or not... so I guess it's just sex... with myself since I have no one else to do. lol

I think my kids are about the only nouns that make me feel like I have accomplished anything in my existence. And I don't just say that because they are my kids, I say that because of their small accomplishments and the credit they give me just for being dad.

I guess a distant second would be myself. I am proud of myself, though I don't know what for.

friends, drugs, music, movies, books, certain television shows, sitting with certain people sometimes does.

I swear I'm not being facetious when I say anything can give me that feeling.

When life goes really smooth. When I feel like I've accomplished something thats been beyond overwhelming.

Actually I recall something now. But what really made me happy was when my sisters and I used to play video games together. I was really young but nothing used to make me happier. We all stayed up late and played Super Mario Brothers and then Pokemon Snap...My sisters are older now (23 and 18) and I barely spend any time with them now and it seems we drifted apart. But I'm being totally honest when I say I'd give just avbout anything to go back to those times...I'm probably the only one who hasn't said sex hehe

Thought. Which is almost contradictory since thought and imagination isn't exactly in our reality. In my brain, anything is possible. I can be and do whatever I please. Thinking of concepts, thinking of stories, thinking of anything, just makes me happy. I love to think. Few (well, two total) things in reality make me happy in any regard. Everything feels too bleak to get much joy out of.

My girlfriend also fills me up with joy, when I'm alone with her, she makes me feel like I can do anything and everything I want to like in my thoughts, she's helped me through so many things, whenever I'm stressed I can always go to her, and she makes me feel happier, being with her is always the highlight of my day. Sadly, I don't get much privacy, so I don't get to be as alone with her as I would like, or I guess could even be considered adequate.

My friends. They've also given me emotional support and made me happy. I am lucky to have them, I do hate being alone.

I think being nice to people gives me that feeling! SO PLACE NICE, KIDS. :bigsmile:

When I am lying in the grass napping with my girlfriend. My mind just kind of wanders happily about. Thinking about everything and nothing all at once.

No, I've yet to ever have feelings of that sort.

I found that all of my problems weren't on my mind when i went camping with some of my friends. Even though the weather was really bad and i always felt unclean i had the time of my life, it was awesome.

Yes, music always makes me happy.

And so does the *thought* of sex. :)

Nothing in this world makes me more happy than being with Amanda.

When I play the drums all of my fears and troubles seem to fade and a feeling of calm and serenity seem to pass over my body. I guess that is what makes me truly happy. I don't have a girlfriend anymore, so that don't count.

When I sing, I sing for me, and I feel great, being with Iceglow (when we aren't arguing) is a great feeling, listening to music. Music makes me feel alive.

Music can do it from time to time, but most often that sort of feeling comes from being in a peaceful place with the opportunity to simply sit and think. Knowing that I have the free time to do whatever I like gives me a great feeling.

I experience the same feelings. My brother and I used to play final fantasy 7 together and we would stay up late ect ect ...We've drifted since and he has more mature interests than you cant share togther anymore.

A turkey sandwich. And no, I'm not kidding. There's something about a turkey sandwich, a bag of Lays and a nice glass of iced tea that just makes everything right. Of course none of you would understand this.

My boyfriend makes me the happiest person alive. We've only fought once, and if I'm sad or mad or something, I can't leave a conversation with him without feeling extremely happy. He just brightens up my life and without him I dont know what I would do. He's really turned around a crappy life.

I would have to say that nature and the elements give me this feeling most often. Like when I go for a walks a a nice day and there is a gentle breeze and I am not thinking about anything in particular. Or when I am alone and in the shower. Besides that, certain episodes of certain animes. The really moving ones, which tend to be the season/series finales. Once and a while listening to music that matches my mood.

after moments of severe problems and stress, usually i fall into a deep valley and then spiradically after ruminating on everything, i somehow just spring out of it.

I have a HUGE passion for music and it can effect me in many ways, I get bursts of happiness from various things, music included, but memories and films/tv that I love to watch esp if a new series of something i've been missing is advertised lol

I've realized that the time I get up during the mornings can greatly affect the rest of the day.
If I get up later than 10:00 AM, then I could just go to bed again, because that day is pretty much screwed. :mad:

There are things that make Me happy like being with friends and laughing and video games cheer me up. But the one thing that makes me so very happy is being with my boyfriend.

But now i hardly see him anymore and ive become very sad.

I get the complete feeling of happiness, with no worry troubles bothering me when I'm hella high off marijuana. I am right now.
