Which of these sideeffects of the common sickness, do you find most annoying? I cannot STAND a blocked nose.

I have always experienced the terrible hoarse, scratchy, irritated and inflamed feeling of my throat hours before I became downtrodden with the sickness of an ear ache, so I loathe the sore throat symptoms more, simply due to the fact that they signify that my body is caving in...

i find that if ive got a really bad cough, that it can be really embaressing if your in like church or the movies. even if your just in class at school.

so yeh, cough.

A stuffed nose is by far the most infuriating of them all.

I was torn between uncontrolled sneezing and a blocked nose, but I took blocked nose because that eventually causes PAIN! :cry:

I hate coughing up mucus (I cannot spell that p word for it for the life of me..) most.

I had bronchitis once, and its never truly stopped since

Ulser. Is that common?

I think I would much despise having an ear ache...:(

I think a sore throat is definitely the worst out of that bunch. Although if vomiting was on that list, I'd say that was the worst.

How could I not include that! Ulsers are B1TCHES!. Still would've said blocked nose though, but Ulser defiantley deserved to be up there.

Ulser, yeh, isnt really a side effect of sickness, but I still think its in the same category as the others.

Uncontrollable coughing ALWAYS makes me sooo mad! :mad2:

Ear ache, most certainly. A stuffy nose can be annoying, although I'd rather it be blocked than constantly running, personally. However, an earache is a constant aching which can put you off balance and cause immense headaches. Ugh. I especially hate earaches that are brought about from being in a cold, sharp wind for a long time. Those are the worst.

I once had an ear ache on both ears at the same time, and could barely hear anything. I still think a sore throat is the worst though.

How the hell did you go to sleep?

I think the effects of fever and throwing up are the worst for me. During fever, I'm feeling cold and weak, I'm not feeling like eating or drinking anything, I can't sleep and I'm not feeling exactly joyous, either. Throwing up just feels terrible, especially if you do it several times.

Sore throat is the winnar, especially when you can't eat or take medicine to make you pass out for 48 hours.

I'd say earaches, but I hardly ever get them. I do, however, get a stuffy nose all the time, and that's obnoxious.

That was hard to choose, but I went with blocked nose. Its horrible :(

They're all pretty annoying but stuffy nose takes the cake.

Runny noses are the worst.

I absolutely hate it when my throat is sore, so I picked that one.

having to breathe through your mouth sucks :(

I've been lucky to not have an ear ache since I was very, very young. I'm pretty lucky in that.

I despise sore throats, though. More than any other sickness symptom.

i hate the head aches where i have to saty in a dark room for ages because the light makes my haed and eyes hurt.
its not common, but its annoying and it always happens at shcool.

Ugh...I have a red eye EVERY year. This year, I had this HUGE bubble on top of my eye! It was scary, then all this blood came out, I didn't really like it. It's still there but it got alot smaller

I'm used to having a blocked nose and sneezing uncontrollably, sore throat isn't that bad (sometimes I actually like having no voice, it's quite strange), so yeah, uncontrollable coughing. I hate it. Especially when it's at night. I just feel like exploding.

blocked nose... it was a tie for me between blocked nose and constant coughing cause with either one of them it feels like u cant breath:(

The stuffed nose thing is the worst for me, because the mucus ends up getting lodged in my throat.

A stuffed nose is beyond frustrating.

Diarrhoea, skin rash, gastrointestinal bleeding, loss of eyesight, kidney implosion, blood in stool, low credit, liver problems, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, a visit to Dr.Phil, facial oedema, mental retardation, legions of the skin, and strange growths.

Ear Ache...
i never get ear aches.

Blocked/Running Nose...
winter - runny nose season, not to mention cold and bitter outside. summer - heaven, the sun light completely fills my room and i wake up refreshed and happy.

Sore Throat...
it's as common as a cold, though i recount a few happy months without one already. can be extremely painful.

Uncontrollable Coughing...
i rarely get this unless i swallow water or food too fast.

Uncontrollable Sneezing...
colds make me mean, grouchy, and upset. that's because every sneeze hurts like mad.

Other: When your entire head hurts and You can't breathe out your nose, Hear very well, and your eyes burn...... Its really nasty!
