Rubedo: It's strange. I sometimes have the most bizarre dreams that make me feel terrible. One time, about a year ago, I had a dream that everybody got a cookie but me. I don't know how they got the cookie, and how I didn't, but that's what happened. I woke up sobbing. :(
I woke up and was disapointed not to see my new ferrari in the driveway.
Yeah, frequently. But I chalk it up to hormones these days...:)

I don't know if I've woke up crying before, but I have woken up very sad. Usually something bad happened in a dream. I'm pretty relieved when I find out it was only a dream!
Either that, or I'm having an awesome dream and I wake up and find out it wasn't real. Then I'm really sad that it wasn't true.

I woke up crying bcus my mom died ^_^ i'm a guy but i'm very emotional! sometimes i cry to relieve stress or something..I'm depressed all the time..srry...I'm probably annoying u all...

chaos: Besides, a dream like that would be truly traumatizing. Glad I haven't had to experience that.
Yeah I have. Just a few times. I had lots of issues and it would come into my dreams :p
A few times but it has been so long I don't remember why. Maybe I was PMS'ing.
I've had a few dreams that me really sad and then I woke up with tears in my eyes. Although occasionally I'll get dreams where I finally get something I've wanted for a long time (nothing material, usually a relationship with someone whom I've cared for a while now), only to wake up and find that it was all a dream. I hate dreams like that, sometimes I wish I didn't dream at all just to save me from those type of dreams. Its rare that I have a "good" dream.

No, never ever woken up crying. Because when I wake up, THAT'S when I'm usually in a good mood. Sleep helps me get over a lot of things. Although I have started crying soon after I've woken up. Almost the same thing I guess.

Wow...I never have. But after a bad dream, my day is always weird and offbeat.
I wake up a little depressed if I had a really good dream, but that's mostly the harshness of reality slapping me in the face.
No, I can't usually remember what its about. That's sad.
I'm pretty sensitive, so I'm sure I have. Most likely it'd be due to having a dream of a family or friend dying.
I can't usually remember what my dreams were, but I know they were immensly depressing, that's why I'll be crying. And the rest of the day I'll feel all emo. T_T

I've woken up frightened. I never woke up/fell asleep crying.
(I'm an emo kid, non-comforming as can be...)
I cannot recall waking up while crying, nor can I remember a time that I fell asleep crying either; however, I have felt quite sorrowful on either occassion. I simply haven't come to the point of physically expressing the sadness when I wake, though I hardly cry, so this may in part be due to such a thing.
I woke up crying once. I couldn't figure out why, but then I looked, and there next to me was a dead clown.
Seriously though. I have a few times. Most of the time I forgot what I was dreaming about before hand, and the rest of the times I'd rather not talk about.
I've never expereinced crying upon waking up. But I have woken up depressed and short of breath. That happened to me a lot this summer.

1.- when my girlfriend (now ex...) nearly died in the real world, and I didn't know about it
2.- when the person I loved more gave me a "no" for answer...

I wake up crying all the time, I get nightmares like you wouldn't believe, if I sleep through the whole night it's a miricle.
I don't cry in my sleep, but my hormones don't work as they should. So they force me to cry when I wake up sometimes. Oh how I hate them. :mad2:
Its happened once to me. About 2 years back i dreamt that me and my family were a huge elevator and when we were at the top it fell and everyone in the elevator died but me.
I woke up crying then.

Same here, I've only woken up crying once or twice. Most of the time I just wake up scared or freaked out because of a bad dream.
