x-files sucks, i had to live with my mom watching it all through my childhood so, hot shower ftw!

If I had a room mate who dared to do such a thing, I'd wait until they were all coseyed up to watch the X files reruns, an then, I would pour a bucket of ice cold water over them.
I've already given up hot showers for Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
I only watch a couple of X-Files episoders and stopped watching when Mulder encounters a bunch of guys withought eyes or something that set you on fire when they touch you.:eek:
Who needs satellite when you can get stuff off the Internet :p

At one point when my mother couldn't afford TV or gas I definitely found myself wishing I had a hot shower (instead of taking an hour to boil innumerable amounts of hot water to heat up a bathtub full of ice cold water).

It's a Double Edged sword, Gas is not really an optional thing and Satelite is. But Satelite bill collectors are crazier than the gas company, and it would refelct on your credit harder if you didn't pay your satelite because it is an optional service. Gas and Electric companies would work with you until you could pay it because they're nessecities, Satelite would be all "Yeah we want you money, you have none. *cuts off*"
But since there are more than one person in the house, paying satelite isn't really the smart thing to do, 'cause you kind of need to bathe even if your friend doesn't. o o
Satelite is good, shower is better. I mean you can't make love to a woman on a satelite dish can ya? Well, unless both of you are very, very small.

Fight the gas company! I could almost wager your gas bill was like twice your satellite bill. Gas is getting insanely expensive here. Boil water and bathe. Save money. You can live without it :]

lol i done the same where i had to choose between gas or electricity. I went for gas. The electricity company, SWEB, said in 6 different letters that a guy would be coming around to install a meter within 3 days if the bill is not paid. It ended up being like 3 months until i finally managed to pay it lol. They just try to scare you :p
Hot Showers make the world go round. They also get rid of zits very nicely.
