Simple question, what book are you reading?
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is what I'm reading.
I am re-reading one of my favorite books of all time: Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
How To Deal With Annoying People. It's effective, but annoyingly Christian. Ironic.
Founding Brothers: The Revolutionary Generation by Joseph Ellis.
Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales.
Battle Royale by Koushun Takami. I have to read it for my Honors English class to fill out this independent reading packet... Thankfully I already read it last summer so I could just finish it in one night and say that I read it :)
"Anna Karenina". Leo Tolstoy. It's such an amazing book, I am hopelessly in love with it. :D
Just finished Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, and The Singularity Is Near by Ray Kurzweil. Now I'm going to read either The Physics Of Superheroes (James Kakalios) or Collapse (Jared Diamond).
Sybil by Flora Rheta Schreiber....although I should really get started on my required summer reading books.
I am currently reading Chainfire, by Terry Goodkind. Before begining this book, I had finished re-reading The Jungle, by Upton Sinclair.
I'm reading Sabriel by Garth Nix.
If this thread doesn't get closed I'm going to have some complaints...
Don't you always?
EDIT: Still plowing through The Stand, it's some heavy reading.
The Complete Works of Oscar Wilde and Dragons of Autumn Twilight by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. One day I'll start on The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. One day.
The Devil in Green by Mark Chadbourn
Mansfield Park by Jane Austen.
i was reading 'memoirs of a geisha', good book ^.-

I have nothing to read now >_>
Im reading this topic.
I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz By Mordecai Richler. Half way through it, actually. It's really good.
Currently reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. I've recently finished Slaughterhouse Five, Catcher in the Rye, The Godfather, Catch 22, and Animal Farm. I've enjoyed all of them immensely except for Tom Sawyer.
After reading your post Ouch! I think I may just have to re-read catcher in the rye, it's my favourite book.
Im re-reading the lord of the rings trilogy. In my opinion, it is so much better than the film. So much was left out in the film. I love those books.
I could've sworn there was already one of these threads.
Anyway, I'm reading When Will Jesus Bring the Porkchops by George Carlin.
Nothing yet, but I want to pick up a biography of Jacqueline du Pre
The Archer's Take by Bernard Cornwell.
im not currently reading a book, but the last book i read was Frog Princess.
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
Summer reading assignment, but I quite like it.
For H.S i am reading The Human Comedy by William Saroyan
For fun i am reading Perfect Dark: Initial Vector by i forgot the author's name. I suck.
I'm reading The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle. It's been nice so far. =)
" Aftonbladet " :D
Although it will be going back to the library tomorrow, I'm reading Code, a book about Computer Science. Very interesting book.
After tomorrow, I plan on reading Brave New World. :)
You think so?? ...In any case it's justified, this time. I started this same thread the day before this one, and it was closed. I was referred to another thread, yet this one survives. Bitching aside:
I'm reading "A Scanner Darkly." I haven't seen the movie yet, and I've read quite a few of Phil Dick's stories. I'll probably read
"Slaughterhouse Five" after I finish "Cat's Cradle"- both by Vonnegut.
I have a lot of books I want to re-read including: the Dune novels; Rice's Vampire Chronicles; LOTR...so many words, so little time...
