Since my previous puzzle was liked here's another one:
33 = 18
42 = 26
51 = 36
60 = ??
Thank you Blitz Ace for pointing out my typo.

46?
same as christmas...?
I'll say 45 and assume you've typoed the sequence.
Its 42
I was never good at these things, so I'm going to simultaneously guess 46, 45, and 42. :)
42 !
Add 10, add 8, add 6.
-2 each time.
Thats just my theory :/
46,
-15
-14
-15
-14
60, do I win yet. Wait till Marick logs on. He will tell us.
45 !
Hint: It's related to my previous puzzle.
44
I donīt know..........44 or 46
(SPOILER) is it 42?
Was 28 meant to be 26? Because if so, then ?? is 42.
There aren't any typos.
I got 42 without assuming there was a typo. Though Dreddz explained that. And it has to be wrong since you wouldn't need the other column to come up with it. And I missed the last puzzle, so I'm probably screwed.
I'm guessing 43. It's got to be in the fourties: 42, 44, 45, 46 have all been guessed...like five times each....
72 x.x
Another hint, s'il vous plait?
Hint: The first numbers are in different bases.
i think the answer is 48, but i also think you might have a typo starseeker... if i am right, then there is a problem with the second row in the puzzle...
i wont say why i think the answer is 48, so others can figure it out too... (i might also by wrong).
Well since there was a typo and now it's fixed I'm going to say 48 for the new answer
33 = 18
42 = 26
51 = 36
60 = ??
33 + 9 gets 42 + 9 gets 51 + 9 gets 60. This part is obvious
18 + 8 gets 26 + 10 gets 36 + 12 gets 48.
Though there is a weirder option I was toying with in my head. Since 9 is such an apparent part of the first sequence, I fiddled with it in the second:
18 + (9-1) = 26 + (9+1) = 36 + (9-1) = 44
Though that really doesn't explain any corrolation between the first column and the second. So I doubt either are correct
the numbers on the left are of different bases, as starseeker said. as in, they are not decimal (base 10). if you look at the first number puzzle starseeker made, the answer was found by using hexadecimal (base 16). but any number can be a base (eg base 4, base 7...) so in this puzzle, look at the numbers on the left, and try to make them into the number on the right by finding the correct base... after you do this, the pattern will become obvious.
hope that makes some sense to someone... prob not the best explanation.
I'm just gonna take a little bit of pride that despite the crazy whacked out method I was using, I still saw the mistake in the sequence :p
The answer is 48 but can anyone explain how the sequence works?
It works through bull!
I think it's 1,298,468
Am I right?
Do I win anything? :kaohappy2:
Keeping you sanity eh...
Thats not much of a prize :mad: :mad2:
The first age is the age of one of the staffers. The next number is the age they CLAIM they are. :cool:
