Japanese and Francias (spelling?)
English :(
AL BHED.
Japanese. Its a cool language.
French.
1337. I need to g3t c001 with t3h k1dz
I wish I could speak pandaaa ;_;
Russian.
Francais* With a little squiggly under the c. As for me, I'd like to learn Spanish.
Japanese! Japanese! Japanese!
And maybe Italian.
Nihongo wa benri na hanashimasu desu. That's probably grammatically wrong ("Speaking Japanese would be useful"), but I think it gets the idea across. I'm going there in a month, and have been trying to learn basic structures and stuff.
Italian, because I am indeed Italian and all of my family on my Dad's side speaks Italian. Also, because I sing a lot of Italian opera, and it'd be pretty helpful.
Gaelic. Because I am disgracfully pathetic at my native language.
I'm terrible at speaking my native tongue. So I'd love to be able to master Cantonese.
If I were to be really unrealistic, I'd choose to master Mandarin too.
What really sucks is that I still suck at English. I'm like the Red Mage of being Chinese-Australian.
Japanese and Latin
I wish I could speak French and German. I don't need to get any better at Welsh, as it's easy - just add 'iau' on the end of english nouns, and 'io' on the end of verbs.
I'd like to be able to speak French as my boyfriend speaks it fluently and I'm the most useless person with languages ever. :jess:
Japanese and chinese!!!
Finnish ;____;
All I can say is "Hi how are you". Id have to chose a really hard language, finnish is like so unique its impossible. No other language is like it, and its meant to be one of the hardest xD
Hei, Mitä Kuuluu?
Since I already know a bit of French I would like to continue with that, but I'd also like to learn Russian or Ukrainian because of my cultural roots.
Japanese or Polish because I've been learning Polish on off for as long as I can remember but I still can't put a sentence together.
Español!
japanese. And french. :D
Oh yeah and Dutch too :D
Russian! :D
And, if I could choose another language, Ukrainian too!
Italian.
I understand Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, English, German already.
French and Spanish would be nice
I know these languages:
1.English
2.Arabic
3.Kurdish
4.Japanies (just alittle).
My favourate one is English, and Japanies is my second, I am learning it now, a very cool language.
I also wish to learn, Germany and Spanish, Swedian wont be bad either.
Occitan, and normal modern french
Spanish (I'm almost there), Portugese, Brazilian Portugese, Latin, and Japanese
French. And Welsh (because I feel like I should). Welsh other than the iaus and ios. :p
Ditto. It'd come in sooooo handy, what with me living in Southern California and all. But outside of convenience, Spanish doesn't really appeal to me. I'd rather be fluent in Japanese or French just because they sound prettier. Also, Korean. I have basic skills in Korean but I'm not completely fluent and I'd like to be.
Being from Canada I know basic French, and dont want any mroe if it (My elementary school and middle school and first 2 years of high school drilled it into your head until you knew enough to have a basic conversation, and thats just core french, if you were in french imersion you would be amde fluent in it)
And Id like to eventually amster the languages im taking in uni, Japanese, Chinese, Latin and German. And since this is a wishing thread, Ill just be greedy and say all of em, including the long dead languages like the one the Aztechs used =D
Screw languages, I want esp! Or not. I want to learn Irish Gaelic the most. That would be awesome. Or maybe Latin. Yes, Latin as well.
日本語 is the obvious choice :p
Every.
Single.
One.
If I had one wish, my wish would be to know everything. But if that was out, I would wish to be completely fluent in every language, from everywhere, ever, real or fictional, throughout the universe.
I would kinda like to learn Spanish, for no other reason than it would be conveinent. Italian because of my family history, French, because its pretty, and I would like to be more proficient with Latin. All I know is goofy stuff and insults, which is fun actually...:)
Japanese and French :D
French then maybe German
Before I become a master of another language...I need to become a master of the English language.
I wish I was fluent in dumb@ss.
...Wait...
Francais et Deutsch.
Let's see, knowing japanese, italian (part sicilian and I've always wanted to learn italiain), and latin would all be really cool.
Latin.
Spanish, 'cause of my family. :) That's all really... :D
Spanish because we're moving out to California because if there was one thing that I learned at Grandma's house it's that there are a lot of Mexican people in California. Since I'm tanned, have black hair and dark eyes people there mistake me for Mexican over there (people here mistake me for Asian here since my eyes are kinda tilted) and start talking Spanish at me and I don't know what they're saying.
Grandma taught you right.Quote:

Latin
Japanese. Then I could understand more than a few words/phrases in all the songs I listen to. And if I could read it, I could play games, read books, and watch anime that is released Japan but has yet to be released in America.
A little Vietnamese would be nice out of guilt that I know NONE at all even though I'm a whole half. Or French. Because I have to learn it anyway so I can talk to my family in France. Whenever it is I visit them again o.O;;
Spainish for convenience, German or Russian just for the heck of it.
Japanese.
French. It sounds so beautiful, especially in songs.
Well, I know Japanese and English so I suppose Spanish will be good!
First and foremost, Japanese. I hope to have it as a minor in college.
Second would be Mandarin Chinese. From what I gather, Mandarin and Japanese have the Kanji characters in common.
I'd also like to learn German. It sounds cool.
I used to want to learn Korean when I had an interest in Korean soaps, but as my interest in that waned, so did my interest in the language. It seemed surprisingly easy compared to Japanese to me.
Latin, Spanish, and Japanese. I love using those languages. I already am excellent with Spanish, so getting better won't be too hard. Latin is the most beautiful language to me.
French is the most annoying language to me. Too bad I'm 20% French. :(
Al Behd and Japanese.
And Newspeak, despite it being a product of a (basically fictional) totalitarian government, would be awesome too, I love 1984.
Spanish.
JAPANESE.
>>> Japanese, so I can read all those dirty manga I have in my computer...
>>> Just curiosity.
Gaelic. Because it's an uncommon language, and so I can talk with some of the people when I go to Ireland in a few years.
Japanese, along with other languages like Chinese and Cambodian. i only know one dialect of Chinese called Teo-chew.
I plan on continuing to learn French, then start learning Italian.
Latin.
Japanese. :p
Spanish.
Spanish. They tell me i'll need to know it because in a couple years that'll be the most speakin language in southwest Texas :(
Japanese! and maybe latin and german
I wish I was the master of learning French. I love France's culture and customs. I'm also taking a French class at school.:)
I wish I was better at French, so that I could zoom through Core French. I used to be in Immersion, but since I left Immersion (because I was annoyed with French) my skills have lowered considerably.
excellent choiceQuote:

Besides, I always loved the language in a general aspect. :p
Latin is great as well, although it reminds me of my old Latin teacher, whom I didn't really like.
Japanese. Damn kanji....
Latin(im obsessed with Ancient Rome) and Japanese(Japan's cool)
Latin is so interesting, so latin first. I would also like to learn Japanese, maybe Chinese. But for now, I'm gonna learn how to be fluent in Al Bhed. Yes, I know. I have no life.
Japanese, so that I can read RAW manga without waiting for translation.
Latin. In fact, I am teaching myself this language through various books at the present moment. It's not incredibly difficult, but it is still something of a challenge.
After learning Latin, I would like to learn French and Japanese as I plan on visiting or living in either of those countries for a bit.
Japanese, although I can count to five in chinese: e, er san, sur euuuuuweh!
