Broccoli.
I used to not dare to touch it,but when I did...I fell in love.
Sushi (not fish though. Crab and shrimp)
Frosted Flakes, broccoli, and crab sushi are delicious. I thought cauliflower would be nasty, but it wasn't. I guess, it's all in how's it's prepared.
Yeah, I'll say sushi. It's nt great either, but definitely not as gross as I thought it'd be. And guacamole. Oh man. How could I ever have lived without it?
For me, it's more "what foods do you like now that you are older that you didn't like when you were younger?"
Caramelized onions. And mushrooms.
There aren't many foods I have thought I wouldn't like before I tried them. I'm willing to try anything and try to reserve my thoughts on foods until I eat them. Though when I was younger I wouldn't try anything new. If I hadn't eaten it before, it was icky.
Shrimp.

Caviar and sushi.
I didn't like Kalamari (squid) then my dad told me he got onion rings. I believed him until the onion rings were chew, I freaked when I found out it was squid and kept eating.
I LOVE KALAMARI! =D
i hated brussel sprouts when i was young... but my girlfriend cooked them for me a few months ago and i love them now... with mashed potato... mmmmm yummy
something i thought was eww till trying.... ummm yeah sushi comes to mind
Usually, I know whether or not I will like a food simply by looking at it or smelling it. I had no idea, though, that mushrooms tasted like that...
Lasagne, chips, curry, chinese, spagetti bolognase, grapes.
Vindaloo. I thought it would be really horrible because it was strong curry. I LOVED IT!!:D
Mushrooms. I adored mushrooms when I was a kid, but at some point, I just stopped eating them and I just can't start again. xD
Dim-sum.
Lots of traditional chinese food. Congee (rice porridge) and anything with red bean in it used to be an especially big no-no, but now I love the stuff.
I like sushi now too. I remember I used to hate almost all seafood, but now it's just the stuff that requires cracking that I don't eat (ie. prawns, crab, crayfish)
Broccoli isn't so bad. I don't like it but I can stomach the thought of eating it now.
Also chilli. I used to be really bad with it and now I add it to just about everything.
Haggis! I really did think it would be gross, but its just black pudding! Tastes great.
Cauliflower. I LOVE Cauliflower Cheese
My mom has always talked about how she used to hate olives when she was younger and so I naturally asumed that olives equaled bad-ness, but then I tried some myself and now I totally dig them. Especially the green ones :)
I remember when I was young I didn't like squid tentacles.
Spinach. I always thought of it as seaweed until I tried it. Yum.
Buffalo was quite tasty, but I was skeptical about eating it. Also sushi, I love sushi now, mmm.
Octopus, I mean come on LOOK at them! Then I figured, well I eat squid, so why not.
Avacado. I love it now.
REAL beetrout (not watery school dinner ones that made me hate it).
