Yeah he was incredibly easy. I beat him on level 53 or something first time round but I really didn't have been that high.
It's a shame really, I would have quite prefered a tough match, would have made the ending much more satifying.
He's pathetic. Even without Cat Nip, you can still beat him, even with physical attack!
I healed myself once or twice during all the battles against vegnagun and Shuyin. Now that nova dragon (or what ever its name was) that appers if you try to go through the gate without putting in the tune , was tough, really tough.
I dont think those were tough at all, i was woopen those too, and im only lvl 60 somthin.
I beat the final bosses on levels 54-56. I didn't think they were too hard. The toughest part was probably Vegnagun's tail, that one had some vicious and powerful attacks.

the walkthrough i was using said i need to level to 100 in order to beat Him, after i got to like 75 i got bored and tried it. And i kicked his ass. Worse guide ever.
The final boss is always really easy.
that is kinda true. FFX's last boss didnt even let u die!
I think vegnagun is pathetic, i beat him at level 53 with no healing at all, (luck of the draw i suppose), but anyway i beat him and with ease. but i restarted to get 100% and am now level 99 i think im gonna get bored against him, i'll just fight, the fiends walking up to him, there harder lol

You can beat our friend Vegnagun in level about 20, even without Iron Dukes (my experience). If you use Iron Dukes, lvl 1 will do the job. If someone can't beat Vegnagun, better to change your strategy.
I think the real problem is not Vegnaguns puny-ness it's how stupidly fast you can level up.
I actually lost a few times I shall admit, not sure what level I was.
If you want a challenge try beating Chac without Cat Nip, I've tryed quite a few strategies, it seems he won't go down that easy.
The one one thing i had to try a few times that i can remember was the thing you had to fight in Bikenelle Desert after you found all the hidden cactours in chapter 5...
Yeah, actually Vegnagun is a piece of cake! No challenge at all! Especially if you have some rare accessories. you can beat him within 7 seconds!
i only died on the tail, it was the hardest part of vegugun, i also skimped of training up so my hp was wiped out in two attacks
It was way too easy. The first time I fought Vegnagun, I kept on using Trigger Happy because I was afraid he would be too hard, and I had Trigger Happy with Cat Nip. Obviously, I beat him with no problem.
But even without Trigger Happy, I realized my second time through, ti's still incredibly easy.
you'd think a monster machina that has been sleeping for 1000 years would be a little more tank...most...wait what am i saying ALL the things you have to fight in the game are pieces of cake. even the bevelle underground was a sinch. and if i can finish it 10 times then it must be easy. lol. the hardest boss in the game i think thats not even a boss is the little old lady in luca that you have to compete with in sphere break...still havent got that yet...
