Yeah. I'm going to be playing games when I'm 90. :p It's only sad when grown-ups don't play games.
I don't see a problem with "older" people playing games.

Yeah, why stop? Computer games can be enjoyed at any age.
If you follow what you just said and play games till age 25 what are you going to do after then magically make yourself not enjoy it and stop? Hell I'm probably going to play video games till the day I die! (Hopefully they'll still make FFs by then!)

There's no reason why universally people should stop playing video games but there will be those who will find the video game concept boring after a period of time.
For example I no longer enjoy chocolate bars as much as when I was a child.
I don't see why not, they just play on older consols (it doesn't hurt their eyes as much, or so my parents say)
The entire Wii campaign is based around the idea that people of all ages will be playing the console. Computer games aren't just for kids anymore. The fact that we have 18 rated games is evidence of that.
If adults shouldn't be playing games then they shouldn't be watching movies or listening to music. Games shouldn't be your life unless you plan on making your career somewhere in the game's industry, but if someone wants to play a couple hours after their kids go to sleep or with their kids, why not? The important thing is not to overdo it and to keep your immediate responsibilities in mind.
I play a lot, moreso than most people, but I don't think I will be playing as much if I have a family.
as long as it doesnt consume your lifa and get in the way of important matters there shouldnt be any problems with adult gamers.
I'm 28 and I still play games. Not as much as when I was younger, but I still enjoy sitting back with a game for an hour or two a couple of times a week.
I'm 23 and I balance a career, a social life, an internet persona, and video game playing easily. There's nothing wrong with it at all.
I don't think anyone under the age of 23 should be playing video games :mad2:

What's wrong with "older people" playing games? So long as they have their priorities straight, as anyone playing games should, I fail to see the issue.
LOL what? My dad and his friends play online games and they are ok at them. I think its awesome. Im playing games for the rest of my life if I can find free time.
My mother and father play video games alot. In fact, my mom plays more than I do. It's absolutely fine with me.
there is no limit and i think there shouldn't be, as long as it is done responsibly. such examples would be as like a father not influencing his kids by playing a violent game in their presence or just sitting there being a potato. as for me, i give up a major part of what makes me, ME...

I think I don't mind old people playing games.
Jojee is just having a midlife crises cause she's getting all old and stuff. Pretty soon people might start mistaking her for a fifteen year old.
Why should you give up anything that you enjoy doing (as long as your priorities and personal health come first) due to age?
I know I'll be playing even after I'm retired.
Of course older people can play video games. It isn't reserved for a certain age group. They just better be getting their ass to work.
