What happens if you keep the artifacts you get from beating a boss? Personally I rather get the experience orbs and I know that Odin gives you some after completing a chapter.

You'll just agitate Odin a bit. Screw him and keep everything. <3
And get that seal rating low too!
Whoops, no. Keeping artifacts doesn't affect your Seal Rating, instead it's your Evaluation Level that drops. You get a -5 on your Evaluation.
If your Evaluation Level drops to 0, and you go into a town or dungeon after that, you get the C ending, which is really much more of a Game Over.
Your Seal Rating, instead, is only to be worried about when you're shooting for the A ending.
If you keep the Artifacts, you still get the Event EXP, so don't worry about that. Most of the time, keeping the artifacts is a good idea. There are plenty of rare items, weapons, and armor that really help out.
But getting your butt kicked by Freya isn't fun at all, so be careful on how much you keep. I usually just did what I had to to get the A ending and left it at that. :)
Any advice to get an "A" ending? And does it show your seal rating somewhere too?
I know that Evaluation and Seal ratings are two completely different things. I took every artifact I could, and didn't come close to my evaluation falling to zero though. It's just nice to have them for when you need to transmute something. ;)
Also, your Seal rating is at the bottom right hand corner of Lenneth's status menu.
As for advice to get the A ending:
During Chapter 4, try to meet Brahms and not fight him, complete the Tower of Lezard Valeth without leaving, recruting Lucian and Mystina, sending Lucian up to Valhalla by chapter six, and not having the Nibelungen Ring equipped at the end of every chapter. Still send at least one person up during each chapter though.
>>> Just keep everything for yourself..
Alot of people recommend keeping all the artifacts, but I usually check if it's something I'll actually need*, and if not, I'll offer it, because having my evaluation plummet makes me feel uneasy. Although I've heard that as long as you send up a good Einharjar every chapter, your Evaluation won't suffer as much, or something.
Also, alot of artifacts can be used for transmutation (especially when you get the Creation Jewel/Gem later on), so it's worth it to check out if something is worth keeping in an faq or something (if you aren't opposed to that).
*Be sure to keep an artifact called Bark of the Dryad...:cat:
>>> If you are playing hard mode you have to be careful with the evaluation points because there are lots of dungeons/artifacts..
Especially one dungeon in Hard mode(was it Tombs of Amenti?), which had a whole boatload of artifacts.
That was the crappiest dungeon ever. :(
And I HATED having to send Lucian up. T_T He's my favorite character.
But the scene was so rewarding. <3
Yes....this is true.
And getting the A ending on hard mode was worth it, if only for getting Lucian back for the Seraphic Gate, and making him nigh INVINCIBLE. :D
Still sucks I didn't get to keep him, though. >(
>>> BTW, Has anyone been able to complete 100% the voice collection??
I have problems with Wraith and Barbarossa because unlike the others they doesnt have a clone in Seraphic Gate..
I have gotten 100% voice collection on the English version, Black Orb, but not on the Japanese.
I have found with bosses like Wraith and Barbarossa, it's easier to just get what you can from them and not worry about the more difficult ones. It can take hours upon hours to get every spell out of them (And impossible in the Japanese version, thanks to the Barbarosa glitch). If you get 95% of the Voice Collection, it fills the other 5% in itself.
>>> yeah, there is Unholy Terror in Seraphic Gate and a Barbarossa like monster in Tombs of Amenti but the only thing you can get from them is the great magic voice clips..
The others ones like Surt, Akhetamen, Genevieve, etc.. are easier since they have clones in Seraphic gate..

Stupid Salerno Academy. I hate the dumb plant puzzle.
Any suggestions?
Another thread? *wink wink* :)
But seriously, Captain K's faq on Gamefaqs is awesome. I also hated that puzzle.
>>> Use an Eye of Heaven, that will make the things easier.. I guess you have problems with that blue plant. Use the strong acid on it and move as fast you can to get the yellow scent before the blue plant rise again.. There are a couple of ways to do it but I dont have the map right here.
Cool...thanks.
