Just out of curiosity, how much did all of you pay for this game? I got a used copy off ebay for 51 dollars, but it basically is brand new, just not sealed, and this was the cheapest I could find it for.

I bought the PC version off my friend for $5 because he couldn't get the game to run.
I got it for $20AUD, brand new original copy. Then it got completely scratched over the years and had to buy the platinum version for the same price. ,_,
£20.... but that's in pounds.... I just found it in the preowned section of a shop where I live a few weeks ago.

i lost my first copy and then my friend gave me another oe for free and its mine now.although i looked in the shops everywhere for it before he gave it to me and it was priced about 30 euro.
wtf i see it on ebay brand new greatest hits for 10 plus 10 shipping all the time. and anyways i bought mine when it was still in stores for 20
Is it the original or greatest hits version? I would pay more for the original, just cause I'm that way. All of my PS2, Xbox, and GC games are the originals, I'm a bit weird about that I guess, but it looks better on my shelf when the console logos are all uniform with the black background. I do have some greatests hits PS1 games, but I'd love to replace them.Quote:

My complete FF7 collection was well over $300. The game was $49.99, and the guide was $17.99 from Walmart. Brand new, first release in 1997. My copy was the first week of it being out.
$10 around the time FFX came out. My Disc 1 got fried in the sun so don't tell my friend I still haven't given him his copy back.

I got my first copy for $14.95 a wal-mart and it got lost and i got my second one for the same price at k-mart but i just seen a few copys on ebay ranging from 51.95-$63.97.
Platinum version about ten pounds including p&p from ebay. the wonders.
got it by trading a frogger game for it. Got frogger for my birthday last year little kid wanted it so I traded now it got broke so I am waiting for a friend to bring it to bowling saturday.

well the first time i bought it it cost me £14.99 than i didnt really tread my games properly and it got broke so i bought it again for £12.99 and lent the game ot to someone (who I dont remember) and my presnt copy was bought for £8.99 pre-owned.

1. £2.50 from a Cash Generater/Converter. It was the Original Version, but with no Manual, and the Case was cracked.
2. £4.00 from eBay. In mint condition with FFVIII Demo. Platinum Version though.
Still haven't fully played it yet.
