I think they are just trying to make it a nice, safe place for everyone. I can understand their concerns over spamming because other Forums i use have Threads destroyed by going off-topic. And they do make tons of PM space available for people who want to have private conversations. What makes me sad is seeing some members here in the last month or so getting banned, then checking out their user profiles and they've been a member here for a year or longer and because of a couple of bad posts out of the hundreds they have made, they get banned. It's not right.
