Have Mr. T play Barret. Other than that, I'd rather have the voice actors from KH, KH2 and FFVII AC play the characters. Hearing anyone but Steve Burton's voice for Cloud would sound weird to me. Rachael Leigh Cook was great as Tifa too. I'm still thinking whether I prefer Mandy Moore or Mena Suvari as Aeris/Aerith. Moore was great in KH, and Suvari didn't sound too good in the video clips I've seen of KH2. I haven't watched FFVII AC in English yet, I'll probably watch it this weekend, but I've heard Aeris' voice was a lot better there than in KH2.
I know this is FFVII but I can't help but say Tom Cruise as Squall.
Michael Clarke Duncan as Barret
Danielle Harris as Tifa
Brad Pitt (maybe) with long hair as Cloud
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE as Cloud.
If I had to choose, then I'd choose the actor who played the shreeking swordsman with long hair in azumi as sephiroth.
keanu reeves as Zack (with a wig obviously)
They look somewhat similar, but I don't think Rude was a really big guy in terms of his physical size. The Rock might be too big to be playing Rude.
Ah, then Keanu Reeves is totally in the wrong movie. Squall's role is better for him. :p
Dr. Phil as Palmer
Martine McCutcheon as tifa ^^ and Bruce Willis as Cid
This topic comes up every year, and I always say the same thing:
Denis Leary as Cid. :D
That's probably the only good suggestion we'll ever get.
Hmm, now should I? . . . ah heck, what's another cast list among the peers?
Here goes:
For Tifa, I'm not sure if Rachael Leigh Cook could handle the fight scenes, I've never seen her fight.
Mr. T and MCD are too old to playin' Barret the Bullet.
Zhang Ziyi from Rush Hour 2 as Yuffie.
No choice but John-Rhys Davis as Heidegger.
Milla Jovovich as Scarlet?
Now I'm drawing a blank.
Hmm. :plotting:
Now that I think about, I could see Ron Pearlman as Rude. He had the right look in Blade II as the skinhead vampire, Reinhardt. That combined with the laconic low-key sense of humor he showed in Hellboy would be just about right.
