PWNED

What do you think of the word Pwned, and how/when it should be used...


Also if you are reading this you have just been pwned! :p

Pwned is a great word but i hardly ever use it

Until there's a law that states you have to use the word pwned a minimum amount of times a day all governments are rubbish.

i love it...never write it, but i say it cause it sounds kinda dirty...

Its a very practical word, you can pretty much say it at anything !

If people were gonna either make me never say pwned again or chop of my ear i would chop of my ear.

The thing is, it's not really a word. If it must be used, it should be as "owned", as its use could be more universally understood.

I use it like 'pawned'. :cat:

My friend says Pwined (Combination of Win and Pwn)

i use the 'oh' sound...heh with an extra emphasis on the P at the beginning

I know... but I like calling it pawned because I play chess with my only friend I actually say pwned around...

Getting pwned is another good way of saying getting creamed. I suppose it's a pretty good word, just the lack of the a confuses me.

Pwned is such a strong word.

You can't use it a lot cuz then its like shutup but if you use it everyone once in a while i'll think its cool.

i prefer owned. i hardly write either of them though. PWNED and OWNED mean pretty much the same thing.

I audibly use the terms "Owned" and "Pwned" (pronounced as it's spelt, P-owned). I also coined the term "Emowned" amongst me and my friends.

I write it and say it often. :cool:

I say owned quite a lot both offline and online, but I really don't use pwned. xD

I never say it, very rarely anyway. I say it "Pooned" :(

Im more likely to say "owned"

I dont say PWNED. Ever. But if I did, I would probably pronounce it 'PAWNED'. xD.

My brother just says 'OWNED'..I hate it. :(

I don't say pwn out loud a lot, but I do think it in my head from time to time. And I like to say it as "PAWNED!" because ... it's fun to say.

I say both owned and pwned both online and in regular discourse.

It's starting to get burned out.

Owned > Pwnt > Pwned

Considering all Pwned is is Owned typoed, I read it and say it as Owned

it looks better with a lower-case P, as in pwned.

My friends and I sometimes jokingly say "'P' owned." I think of it as "puhowned", by I never otherwise say anything other than "owned."

I actually think most people who have been around the internet for awhile use "pwned" about the right amount of time. I enjoy coming across it a few times a day when used properly. It's only the |\|()()|3Z that use it way too much. Many of us have been there ourselves, but after a decent smackdown we learn to treat "pwned" with the respect it deserves. ;)
