... when you're nervous? Some people bite on their fingernails, tap their fingers on a desk, faint on the floor ...
What I usually do is pop a whole sheet of bubble wrap :D It makes me feel a lot better when I've finished the whole sheet. What can be more satisfying?
I am a horrible nail biter. It is my worst habit, and it makes my hands look less pretty. I used to think that I just bit my nails for boredom and not so much nervousness, but when I get nervous, I bit them to the quick in an insanely short amount of time, so I've come to the conclusion that I always bite my nails but I'm worse when I'm nervous. xD
I also tap my desk quite a bit. I'm fidget like a midget when I'm nervous. :bigsmile:
So your nervous(because you have a test that counts 50% of your grade) and you'll pull out bubble wrap and start popping it? You sir are AWESOMESAUCE!!1
When I'm nervous my cheeks start shaking like crazy.
I scream at random passers-by.

When I'm nervous...I giggle. Just ask my boyfriend, he knows all about that :rolleyes:

if i'm ever nervous, i go reeeaaal quiet, blush a little, giggle some....ummm...if i'm standing with someone, i usually hide my hands in my pockets.
i could go on for a year....but i dont wanna, so there! :p

I also tend to...well, read. I read anything and anything to kind of soothe my mind...it's a strange habit but I do it anyway >.>
Yeah, if I'm at home and nervous, I'll read. It does pass the time pretty well, if you're able to get into the book. Sometimes I'm too nervous to do so, though.
I chew my fingers off.
I shake uncontrollably and I feel really silly and try to stop e_e Like right before I have to make a big speech or something, or when people confront me with something I don't want to talk about... or when I'm at the doctors, or just scary situations. I hate it. xD I just start shaking. Luckily that doesn't happen too often.
I bite my fingernails on a normal basis though, not because I'm nervous or anything ^.^
I just sit quietly...
And stew.
my mind starts to work harder than usual (moving on to clever+):
1) troubleshoot trouble..."escape" plan
2) fidget/move around a lot (gets the mind going)
3) if nervousness can be sub-categorized as trouble, then trouble isn't really that bad as pesky black/brown-ish pesticides that resemble elongated, salted and pickled olives
If I'm incredibly nervous, and am sitting down, my leg will be shaking as I'm tapping my foot like mad. Otherwise, I 'chew' the inside of my right cheek (very lightly, no notable pressure) or rub my bottom lip or clean any tiny, tiny bits of loose skin I can find off my lips using my teeth.
I punch random people :(

i bite my nails normally...don't get nervous often...sometimes i let out a little laugh that seems out of place maybe...can't think of anything else
I'm nervous in pretty much every social situation. I get really quiet and avoid eye contact and try not to draw too much attention onto myself.
I have this ring on a chain that I've worn since I was a freshman in high school (if not earlier) and when ever I'm nervous I tend to pull on it some or run it up and down the chain.
I start shaking, hyperventilating, stuttering, my memory blanks, I can't think, I start zoning out, which also leads to black spots forming in my vision.
That's the worst I've gone through, as whatever made me nervous usually ended at the black spot part.

If I have a pen with me, which is usually the case as I'm an art student, then I'll fool with the pen. I'm pretty skilled with the pen now due to nervous moments :rolleyes2

I bite my nails raw, sometimes. Until they go so low you see the glimmerings of flesh. Mm, I fiddle with my hair. I tap my foot. I get shifty eyes.
Bizarrely enough though, what I do most is rub my nose. Chronically. And I tap my bones -- ankles and nose-cartilage mostly.
I do laundry when I'm nervous. That's right, I'm never nervous. In fact, I'm the opposite of nervous, which is suovren.
I tap my fingures on any surface, I also like to walk the place up and down. And if it goes so much, I start to feel sick. :barf:
