What's "Awesomesauce"?

:bounce: Yep. We know it's one of the much-loved EoFF'er Rye's favourite words :bounce:

But what exactly is 'awesomesauce'? :confused: For this word has tickled Devil Man's fancy and has become the apple of Devil Man's eye :love:

I ask this because 5 times in the last 3 days I have used this ultra-cool, super-duper word during chats with friends. Yesterday one of my friends told me how he couldn't wait until he started his 3rd Year at University. I told him, 'Yeah man, it's gonna be totally awesomesauce!'

And later on in the day, I went to grab some lunch with another friend and she couldn't decide what chocolate to get, so I said, 'Get that White Chocolate Lindt! It's awesomesauce!'

Awesomesauce is now officially one of my favourite words! :love: Thanks Rye! But what does awesomesauce mean to you? For me, it is something that is wayyyyyy beyond coolness, is tasty and is totally awesome!

Oh, and what other favourite words do you use that have not, for totally outrageous reasons (:eek:), not ended up in the dictionary?

It's nothing compared to "ohburnsauce"

It's basically just a word with 'sauce' added on at the end. It is not to be confused with awesome sauce, which is actually a sauce that is awesome.

i think it's similar to LOLZsauce, only a different flavor.

Awesomesauce is clearly the pinnacle. I pretty much add sauce to the back of everything. Saucin' it up. Ex: Shauna-sauce, Christmasauce, Jessisauce, Burnsauce, Backsauce, Yumsauce, Ah'm saucy~, Ohsnapsauce, etc. :bigsmile:

I've never tried it, but I have heard it tastes like nubsauce (which I also haven't tried).

I'm rather fond of weaksauce myself. That word was tossed around a loooot in high school. Especially by one of our teachers. :p

Uh. I don't know about "aweseomesauce" but the first time I ever heard "weaksauce" was when one of my teachers said it my Sophomore year. Weaksauce has always been a real world term for me. Don't know it's origins but seeing as how I first heard the term in real life 5 years ago, I never ever assumed it was an internet term. And I don't think it is.
