I enjoyed (many times) watching this movie. It has a unique style. I thought some of the direction was a bit odd (namely all of the shaky nervousness displayed by so many of the characters), but overall it's very entertaining.
"Aren't you going to open your mail? It could be good news...."
"...you're fired!"
I LOVED this movie. Seriously. It was beautiful.
And I also liked Chris Rock's character in the film too. xD
Actually it was Chris Tucker not Chris Rock.
Leeloo Dallas.

and yes, chris tucker had a great performance.
This is such a wonderful coincidence, the movie is on TNT as I speak.
does TNT do the same editing to their movies as TBS?
MULTIPASS!
I like this movie a LOT. I thought it was funny the first time I saw it, and for some reason, it just gets better.
Dallas' MOM...Oh my god...*dies*
Yep Dallas's mom was an obnoxious bitch.
Yep she was pretty damn annoying...By the way Valkyriewing could you edit your quote for me? I misspelled obnoxious and I HATE grammar errors.
FIXED. :P
Thanks!:) "They're...not ready they need five more minutes."
I like it and therefore I have it on DVD. It's not anywhere near as good as Luc Besson's earlier stuff, though. Leon, Nikita and Subway are much better.
I don't really want to compare it to Leon, as it's a completely different kind of film.
Leon is a better film in my opinion. The Fifth Element is still a great flic to watch, the amount of boobies you see in that movie is staggering considering its a PG.
Excellent movie. Gary Oldman is a legend in it. My favourite scene is probably the one where they all turn up at the spaceport one after another all claiming to be Korben Dallas.
Multipass!
Just an amazing film. My favorite part was when the military guys get frozen. But im wierd like that.
I loved it! I thoroughly enjoyed the opera scene.
I like the hand to hand combat scene but the opera scene with the woman who looked like Mission Vao is annoying in my opinion.
I loved the Blue Opera Singer lady, she was teh sexxorz!
That's probably my favorite part of the movie right there. Seeing Chris Tucker yell like a little girl multiple times was just amazing to watch.Quote:

Milla Jovovich makes my pants feel funny.
I love this movie, it's fantastic and beautiful and funny and <333
its a great film
Loved it. Incredibly corny, but incredibly entertaining. You find new hilarious things each time you watch it.
Did, for instance, anyone else notice the hilarious little 'dance' David does at the very end right after Ruby Rhod barges out of the temple shouting "Every minute there's a bomb or something etc."? I never noticed it until like the fourth time I watched it, and seriously died laughing.
Oh, and my favourite scene is probably when that guy tries to mug Bruce Willis in the beginning.
"That's a very dangerous gun. You mind if I look after that for you?"
"Take it! I-I-I don't need it!"
Milla is hot as always...:)
Although the orange wig didnīt do her justice:(
Priest Vito Cornelius: Where's the robot to pat you in the back? Or the engineer? Or their children, maybe?
[Desk brings out Zorg's pet Picasso; Zorg motions it to try and help him]
Priest Vito Cornelius: There, you see how all your so-called power counts for absolutely nothing? How your entire empire of destruction
>>> I loved that movie, the only thing I hated about it was Bruce Willis..
Zorg and Ruby were pure genius..
Amazing movie! Because of this thread, I'm finally going to go and buy it!! *clicks add to cart* :hyper:
I love that movie. it was such a different take from your usual sci fi flick!
Oh I love this movie. Milla Jovovich is so hot in her uhh..... starpsuit-like thingy-suit was plain HAWTNASS!!!
I haven't seen it in years, but back then I watched it lots of times. So yeah, I really like it. Chris Tucker was fantastic! Well, they all were. I don't remember much else besides the fact that Milla Jovovich's haircut bugged me. :p
I haven't seen it in a really long time, but I love this movie. It was wonderful! I'll have to see it again one of these days.
it's part of my dvd collection.
hmmm...i feel a fav movies thread coming...
Chris Tucker was perfect for that part!
