A doorway to the mind

So this UPS guy just delivered a package, and it made me cognitate.

Usually when we have guests, like my grandma and friends that have been over many times, they come in the sliding glass doors in the middle of the house. However, when someone who doesn't usually go to our house comes, they often will try to go up the steps to the front porch and use that door.

The delivery guys, fedex and UPS are usually about half and half about going in the front door and going in the side doors.

If you were going to the house of a stranger, say you were selling girl scout cookies, and they had two doors, an ornate front porch door out closest to the street, and a plainer door that was set back, but obviously more accessible to the house as a whole, which would you knock or ring at?

I always feel the need to to go to the front door, unless told otherwise.

I would go to the porch door.

The front door porch thing door! Of course. The other like you said is more accessible to the house and so my mind it makes it more personal and the whole intruding thing and maybe I am weird but that's how I feel.

I have a job that involves deliveries. I hate not knowing which door to go to. I usually look for a doorbell ringer and assume people would like you to use that one.

Chimney.

i'd crash a truck through the wall and jump out with weapons screaming "WHERE ARE MY COOKIES!!!"

Front door. I always feel like I'm intruding somewhere if I knock on the back door.

Whichever door takes less of my time to get to.

I think I'd just chuck the package through the window if there were too many doors to chose from

It depends where I'm going.

I always go to the front door of houses. :jess:

When I was selling cookies in the Girl Scouts (...) I always went for the most difficult to access doors, because I'm a cruel bastard. Then if they didn't buy cookies, I'd try again later at the same door.

front door unless its a bbq, thats always round the back!

I'd ring/knock at the front door in order to give myself some self-respect.

I deserve it, dammit.

i dont use doors....
nahh.....id probly jus throw the package and run.....btu if i had to id jsu knock on the front door.....im kinda shy anyways....so......
