7.50%, damn Pennsylvania is right next to Ohio and you guys are at 6%.
In New Zealand, end-consumers have to pay a Goods and Services Tax of 12.5%.
I think it's 8%.
Is VAT the British equivalent of this sales jazz? If so it's 17.5%.

back home in New York it's 8%, but here at school in PA it's a measly 6%. DISCOUNT
I believe it's 7% in California, but I'm not quite sure.

GST (Goods and Services Tax) has been lowered from 7% to 6% throughout the country.
Anyways, there is also PST (Provincial Sale Tax).
Long story short, sale tax in Quebec is 14%.
I'm currently at college in Pennsylvania, US and I have no idea what the sales tax is. I also don't know the sales tax in Maryland, where my mom moved last year (that's where I live out of college).
However, I do know the sales tax in Delaware (just a couple of miles from where my mom lives and where I used to live) is 0%. :D
