So, do you have a myspace? I just got a myspace today, and it's quite strange. It seems to be a healthy way to communicate with friends, but apparently it's rather addicting. :shifty:

Edit: Myspace has corrupted my mind already. I stopped at "Have" in the thread title when it was meant to be "Have a myspace?". It's like a really, REALLY fast working drug, but the part that's fast is the side-effect. Could a CK correct that mistake for me, please? n_n;

Ahem it can be fun i don't have one i just go on friends. Which sort of defeats the perpouse considering I talk to them almost every day which is why I havent started one of my own. No wait i haven created one cuz of my crappy computer i had windows 98 for years can you believe it. I might make one sometimes in the not so distant future cuz i gots me a new computer.

It's useful for communication and networking friends and the like, but I don't really see its uses otherwise.

The forums there are horrid, to put it lightly...

I don't really understand all the blind hatred for MySpace. It is a website. For meeting people. If you don't want people to know a lot about you, you set your profile to private or "friends only". Uh. What's the problem again?

I have a MySpace. The URL is in my profile under the... homepage.. thing.

I got one to see what the big deal is. I don't really. I get more use out of the forums like EoFF than I do myspace. I go one about everyday to see if I have a message, or check out some bands but I never stay on for too long.

The forums and chatrooms are an eyesore and I have absolutely no desire to use them. I cannot be arsed to write a blog. So it's of no real use to me.

The attraction isn't invisible, but I think it's overrated nevertheless.

Anyway, add me if it so pleases you.

Word! myspace is also a one of the best ways to promote bands aswell. What works better then sending 1 flyer to a thousand people with just 2 clicks of your mouse?

I have one, and to me it's a fairly useful way to keep in contact with family and friends, both those relatively close and in other states. I only add people I actually know though, except for random fun people (aka Weird Al :cool:).

I got a myspace last year and used to go on it quite a bit, until I joined another bandwagon and got a Facebook :p. I mostly use it now to post bulletins (asking for help, making announcements, etc...not random phrases or thoughts like some people like to do -_-), but I used to go on it a lot. I actually discovered a lot of good music (imo) and became better friends with people I know in real life through it. So I don't think it's too bad...I just think it's gotten a bad rep because of the stalker/pedoplile issues and tacky designs some people use.

I, like everyone else, have both a MySpace and a LiveJournal. They're both useful for entirely different things, so I don't see why people keep saying LJ is so much better. They're nothing alike. <.<

I use it mainly for keeping up with all of my friends. It's also a great way of meeting new people, for those of us that like getting out of our caves every once and awhile. MySpace wins over other communities only because of the size of the community, and how easy it is to find/stalk other people. Plus, it's the only place that I can do whatever the hell I want to my page and not feel bad about it... like background music. >=D Muahaha.

This is actually one of the few things that I can say, hand on heart, I am not addicted to, sure the MSN phase is just about over, but MySpace has yet to enthrall me as of yet, I just like pimping it and cheating, and putting as many decent songs on as I can. That and I love impersonating the cool people, they hate it.
