I could go on but they wouldn't fit into the classification agaenda of "Hair" Metal. Usually it's just general heavy metal, well, over in Britain it was.

in 1986 I saw Whitesnake open up for Motley Crue. Whitesnake was ony the opening band but their performance just blew the Crue out of the water. Good concert

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the motherload, the goldpot, the literal inarnation of hair metal. Cinderella. NOW THAT IS HAIR METAL. NITRO too, the singer's hair adds another 2ft onto him. :/
