I was always afraid of puddles, when I was little. xD. I was afraid that I was gonna get sucked in.
I was afraid of every single little thing.
Dunno. Fire. I'm still kinda scared of fire. xD
Birds!
Also, when I was really young, I was scared of all non-asian adults. It was like, "ahhhhh! What are you?!"
Dogs. I was attacked by a crazed one while in France, and as such, I treated dogs like terrorists/old people.
My mother taught me that if I looked at someone in another car, they would shoot me. She taught me that if I talked to a stranger, I would be kidnapped. She taught me that if I was ever alone, I would be kidnapped. If any door in the house was every unlocked, we would all be killed.
Yeah, you guessed it. I was afraid of people.
I was afraid of dolls. I saw Child's Play 2 on VHS, and I was too afraid to go to bed that night because I thought something was going to kill me.
Tall objects, like churches and flagpoles.
I was afraid they'd fall down on me, so I would normally take a detour, or as a worst case scenario run like hell and hope for the best.
really tall things, the front door of my house (don't worry, I've moved since then. it's okay) and death
edit: oh, and these guys

I don't really think I was afraid of anything. Well except the same things I'm afraid of now (SPOILER)spiders
Me too... :crying:
I am afraid of people who talk on talkies and want to examine me for my "special powers."
Heights. Definitely.
My Mum leaving me.
I was still afraid of eye contact back when I was young.
the dork
EDIT
the dark
Fire, the rest of my family walking out and leaving me like my Dad did, and people.
Rumplestilzkin (or however you spell his name).
volcano eruptions. I was afraid of being buried alive by lava.
Heights, still afraid of that today. For a very brief time of my life, bunk beds scared me :skull::skull::skull::skull:less.
Yes, that is pathetic.
I used to be afraid of the drain in the bathtub, I thought I'd go down the drain if I were close enough to it.
When I was little I was afraid of the dark and heights. And heights still to a certain degree today.
I had a HUGE fear of water... still do one open seas... and big lakes
Long story short.
Me, cuz, cuz fall off boat, me dive in, get her on boat... my foot gets stuck... me nearly drowned... uncle saved me. And yeah that story sounds so much better on the long version
Yeah the dark! I was scared of things living under my bed too!
Power Rangers. :(
Cockroaches. Of course!
Uhm, sleeping with my back to the door (I kept imagining people rushing in and shooting/stabbing me in my back) and closing my eyes when brushing my teeth (ditto).
Dogs and swimming.

Need I say it?
I watched this movie when I was six years old.
Worst three years of my life.
I was in complete terror of the wolf on The Never Ending Story. Sometimes I would think he would come out and eat me when I wasn't even watching the movie.
not afraid of much....i probably disliked the dark...but i probably got over that by th etime i was like 3....
Boredom scared me. An it still does now.
After watching 'It' at the young, impressionable age of four, clowns. Aside from that, I had an irrational fear of the noises that the washing machine used to make. o_o
Oh yeah; Sherlock Holmes. God, "The Speckled Band". Never read it since, so I wouldn't be knowing if it's any different now.
I've been scared of underwater machinery from the age of 3. I'm still terrified to this day. I'm not quite sure where this irrational fear is from, but it affects me whenever I take the kids swimming. I can't go near any of the underwater grids for fear of my life, and I stay well clear of the horrible wave machine. Seeing the machinery, wheels and whatnot going round underwater panics me to death.
That would be the great G'Mork. He terrified me, too. :(Quote:

Spiders, and they're still my biggest fear now. :jess:
Interestingly enough, in the book G'Mork was green and a reflection of the human lies filling the real world. He claimed to be immortal.
GIANT MAN EATING NOODLES SCARED ME :(
Sharks, I always used to dream about sharks eating me.:(:(:(:(
i was and still am of mummys, when i 5 i watched this mummy film cant remember whats it called and it scared me to death
Myself. Still is.
I wasn't afraid of anything when I was a kid.
When I was maybe four or five my cousin poured about twenty goldfish into my bathtub while I was taking a bath, and ever since I've been afraid to swim in any natural water...swimming pools are fine though.
I also absolutely hate snakes. They scare the crap out of me. When I was like five we came home and on the front step were dozens of snakes squirming about (mating possibly?). There was a crack in our step that they used to come out of. Disgusting.
Please no one think im wierd but i use to be scared of Mr.Blobby, seriously he used to scare the living daylight out of me.
After i saw Blade when i was a bit younger i grew scared of vampies, man there so scary, im still scared today XD. I blessed my room with tap water then made a awkward cross which looked like a cross made from the stoneages (i got a boo boo from making it :( )
Man you have to admit that your scared when your 5-7 and you see horrific scenes of vampires tasting/drinking/worshipping other peoples blood that you're not supposed to see but saw with your parents so you did not have to go to school the other day.
i was afraid of manikins... my parents owning a clothes shop before, it was an everyday nightmare ><"
needles, commitment, large birds, spiders and unforseen pregnancy's.
Zombies.
Hey, guess what never changed
The idea of something, whether real or not, that could hurt me that is unstoppable. E.g. the wendigo-like creature in Jeepers Creepers, I was scared of that for ages. I'm pretty afraid of getting old, too. ;[
the dark. and airplane toilets.
Same here. Next to this Chinese restaurant my parents and I used to go to quite a bit when I was young, there was an abandoned fancy-dress shops, with the mannequins just left in the window... one was just a head with a woman's hat on it, if I remember correctly. I used to have to turn my head away from it every time we passed it, especially after dark. Even going to the bathroom at the restaurant, knowing that those creepy mannequins were right next door was horrible.
I was so relieved when the shop changed hands and it became a newsagent...
I use to be afraid of butterflies the just spooked me out for some reason now i just kind notice them and don't care.
i really cant think of anything im afraid of now but i think i was braver back then or atleast not as cautious.
For some reason, flushing toilets outside my home after I had pooped in them was scary to me. I don't know why really.
I'm still scared of hot water heaters; one of my preschools caught on fire when I was there because a custodian had put a broom in the hot water closet.
What is your obsession with poop?
it's a fun word. I'm over that particular hang up now, though.
Two years ago I was ending my first deployment in Iraq. What were you doing? Probably reading this thread because thats when it was made. It's too old for this hoppin' place.
Absolutely nothing. I was born fearless.
